Happy Halloween!

Trick or Tweet was one of the first stamp sets I bought from the Holiday Catalog along with the Buffalo Check stamp set. This is one of my favorite Halloween cards that I made this year with this stamp set. Notice the texture on the Buffalo Check stamped background?  After stamping the Buffalo Check with black ink onto Gorgeous Grape cardstock, I ran it thru the Big Shot using the Subtle embossing folder- another one of my favorite accessories from the 2018 annual catalog.  It makes it look like real plaid. October Paper Pumpkin

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am share a few alternative projects I made using the October Paper Pumpkin. I enhanced a few of the projects using the core colors in the kit: Fresh Fig, Grapefruit Grove, Cajun Craze and Night of Navy. I also altered one of the Crumb Cake card bases into a pocket note card. I also made a short video explaining what I did to create these projects below. Pocket Card Directions: Cut Crumb Cake card base at 4 1/4"to obtain a 4" x 4/14" card leaving a 2 1/8" x 4" card base piece left over. Cut an 8" piece of ribbon from kit and wrap around card securing ends with double sided tape to card front. (note: this will not go completely around the card). Decorate card front as desired. Card insert: Night of Navy cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and scored at 1" on the long side to create a flap. Gift Card holder: create a new score line 1/2" above card base score line which is at 3 1/2". Cut 1 inc...

Harvest Blessings Free PDF

Hello, crafty friends. This week is going to be super busy! I have two stamping classes and then on Friday, my daughter will be in her home town playing in her college Orchestra's tour. It's going to be so much fun to see my stamping friends and then my daughter (insert happy dance)! Today, I am popping in to share another card I made using the Country Home Suite . I love this card's layout. Using just a strip of the floral design from the Country Lane DSP is a perfect way to accent your focal image without overpowering it.  And who doesn't love to color with Stampin' Blends?  Here, I used the new Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss colors offered in the Country Home Suite.  I love how Stampin' UP! products coordinate. Thankful for mint and blackberry

Today, I am sharing a Falling For Leaves card I made using two colors of Stampin' Blends I recently added to my collection: Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss. What a great color combination these two make.  I love that I don't have to think very hard when it comes to color combinations.  It's so much easier to literally pull out the ink and matching cardstock listed in a given pack of DSP and start creating from there.  As most of you know- I am partial to the color purple.  But I will clarify that I don't really wear purple, nor do I have any rooms decorated with it.  It just makes me happy when I see it in a crafty creation. :) Product List Falling For Leaves Photopolymer Bundle [ 149938 ] Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies [ 145372 ] Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder [ 147906 ] Country Lane 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 Cm) Designer Series Paper [ 147804 ] Tuxedo Black Mement...
