Let us Adore Him

Hello, crafty friends. As promised, here is another Christmas card creation using the July Summer Nights Add-On card with the In the Pines Bundle. This time I paired the die cut trees with the For Unto Us stamp set.  Although my design is very simple, I think it packs a punch with a peaceful, happy feel to it. I used both of the different snow drifts in the In the Pines Bundle and inserted the Whisper White die cut trees in between them using Dimensionals. I also added the Star of Bethlehem from the For Unto Us stamp set and finished it off with a Clear Rhinestone. I am happy Stampin' UP! added another new religious stamp set.  These sentiments are perfect for simple creations for both inside and outside.   Today, is the last day you can stock up and save 15% off 15 different Designer Series Papers!  Don't delay!  My favorites are the Snowflake Splendor and the Tis the Season Designer Series Papers. Celebrate the Season

Hello, crafty friends and happy Friday! All of my Halloween goodies have been made, sent or handed out and most have already been opened by the recipients. So fun to make handmade treats and so fun to send them.  Today, I am sharing a fun Christmas card I made using a premade card from the July Paper Pumpkin Summer Nights Add-On pack.   As a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I was very excited to be able to purchase the July Summer Nights Add-On card pack because I thought they would make a great addition to my ever growing Christmas card list. Can I just say how much I heart the die cut trees from the In the Pines Bundle ! And look how well they pair with the Snowman from the Snowman Season stamp set.  I love it! This is a great layout for you to CASE regardless if you did not purchase the add on Paper Pumpkin Kit. Quick, easy and so fun! And I must mention the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.  I bought this set from the 2019 Holiday Catalog as a last minute purchase, ...

Magic in this Night Suite part 2

Hello, crafty friends. Here are the other style treat bags I made using different patterns from the Magic in this Night DSP. The bats were stamped in Memento Black ink onto Pretty Peacock cardstock and die cut out.  The other stamped images were embossed in Silver onto Basic Black cardstock.  For fun, I die cut the sentiment using the Tasteful Touches Dies.  I just love the Iridescent Pearls in this suite!  The spiders were stamped in Versamark and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The main panel was stamped in Memento Black ink and then colored with Cajun  Craze and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  I added 3 Black Glitter die cut leaves and added Black Glitter Paper buckles to match it.  Finally, I added the Iridescent Pearls.  For this one I decided to highlight the floral pattern with gold embossing of the sentiment and bats.  I also added a couple gold embossed leaves from the Beautiful Autumn bundle and a Cajun Craze die cut layer using...

Magic in this Night Suite

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a treat bag perfect for Halloween gift giving that I made using the Magic in this Night Suite with the All Dressed Up Dies. Isn't this creepy yet so cute? lol   I demonstrated how I made this treat bag on my Facebook page this morning  HERE. I used the Magic in this Night DSP, the Black Glitter Paper and the Iridescent Pearls from the Magic in this Night Suite found on page 53 in the 2020 Holiday Mini Catalog. I love when Stampin' UP! provides all the items together in a suite so that you can create effortlessly.  I have a few more that I will share in tomorrows post- so make sure to stop back. It's a Retirement Party!

Hello, crafty friends. It's not really a retirement party- its a fun birthday card I made for a special little someone in our family using ALL retired Stampin' UP! products.  And these guys are partying! How can you not love the Zoo Babies stamp set?  A set I will never give up. Another awesome retired set- Number of Years .  Ink colors that I dusted off: Marina Mist, Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Pistachio Pudding. I started out with a piece of  Pistachio Pudding polka dotted DSP and went from there.  I can not tell you the name of the retired embossing folder but it worked perfectly for my party animals.   To make the party hats, I simply hand cut the polka dotted DSP into triangles and flipped it over to use the chevron side.  So fun.
