Have a Spooktacular Halloween!

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a fun treat bag I made using products from the Monster Bash Suite. As I have mentioned before, I think the Monster Bash Suite was made for creating fun and scary (lol) treat projects.  I love the swirly dies from the Ornate Frames Dies. They have a vintage feel and are definitely unique. This particular Crushed Curry swirly pattern from the Monster Bash DSP is my top favorite.  There is another design like this in Smoky Slate that is just as pretty. There are so many images in the Monster Bash DSP that can be used with the Ornate Frames Dies that it is easy to whip up Halloween themed projects just like this. I used the Black Foil Sheets to die cut my swirly frame.  I love the shiny look of it which matches the crow from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes perfectly.  Don't miss out: Today is the LAST DAY  to qualify for OPTION 1 and 2 of my Brightly Gleaming Card Class! I have designed 7 gorgeou...

Open if you dare...

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a creepy good duo to share with you in honor of Halloween using items from the Monster Bash Suite . This gift set is actually one of the very first things I made with this suite. I was so excited to try out the new Coffin Treat Boxes and decided afterwards to make a little card to match my coffin box. One of the colors in the Monster Bash DSP is Terracotta Tile, so I thought it would be fun to try out the 1/2" Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon and ended up putting it around the edge of the Coffin Treat Box lid.  So fun!   At the time that I made this Halloween duo (way back in August), I didn't know how much I would use the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder ! Yes the EF works great with the Monster Bash Suite, but it also looks fabulous with many of the Christmas themed sets in the Holiday Catalog and was the embossing folder I gravitated to the most when I created my Wrapped in Plaid and Brightly Gleaming Card Clas...

Christmas Wishes

Hello, crafty friends.  Today, I am sharing a Christmas card using the Toile Christmas bundle from the Toile Tidings Suite . The Toile Christmas stamp set is a Distinktive stamp set which means that it's easy to color because there is so much detail in the stamped images.  I colored my cardinal using Real Red and Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends for his body, and Light Pumpkin Pie and a little bit of Mango Melody for his beak. Sadly, I tried to add to many colors to the beak, and it started to bleed beyond the lines- so be careful to not color too hard or too long. I love this swirly die from the Christmas Cardinal Dies .  Its very whimsical and I see it being used with lots of other card creations. I didn't use all of the pieces in this set for this card, but I will have more to share at a later date. Don't miss out on my  Brightly Gleaming Card Class  containing 7 beautiful Christmas themed projects! Complete details  HERE. ...
