Sunday Stamps! #234

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a card following the new challenge at Sunday Stamps! using the Whale Done Bundle found on page 96 of the new 2020-2021 Stampin' UP! Catalog. Stampin' UP! created such a cute and unique suite containing sea creatures and fun and colorful patterns and images in the matching designer series paper that it found its way into my shopping cart. lol The Whale of a Time Suite is just too darn cute! I love everything in it: The Whale Done stamp set, the Whale of a Time DSP , the Seabed Embossing Folder and Whale of a Time Sequins.    To create my card, I first stamped the greenery images using Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock inks, followed by adding the coral and fish using Calypso Coral ink and then added some Balmy Blue fish and bubbles before embossing my Whisper White panel with the awesome Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. The turtles were stamped in Memento Black ink followed by coloring with Pretty Peacock and Smoky Slate Stampin'...

Prized Peony #2

Hello, crafty friends. Today, is my daughters birthday, so my post will be quick as we are heading to one of our local restaurants for margaritas and enchiladas after we finish making her birthday request of red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  lol! Here is another Prized Peony creation using leftover pieces I had sitting on my table and after I made a video showing tips on how to color this beautiful stamp set.   Does it look familiar?  It should because I used the same colors and layout of my previous Prized Peony creation only this time I stamped my images using Smokey Slate ink before coloring them with Stampin' Blends.  Check out my coloring tips using the  Prized Peony stamp set here: I love how soft and dare I say dreamy my card looks stamped in Smokey Slate.  Since the color gray is neutral, you can pair it with any color and get fantastic results.
