You're Special: SAB's last day

Today's card showcases the Sale-a-bration stamp set called " What I Love ".  It is such an awesome stamp set.  You can create beautiful flowers with out much effort or even thinking about what colors you "need" to use.  For example, I just stamped the petals, no lining up for me.  And check out the colors I used: Rose Red, Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride.  Now who would ever put those colors together, right?  But I threw them together to match the Love Blossoms DSP.   Supplies: Stamps:  What I Love (141276), Garden in Bloom (139433) Ink: Rose Red, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake and Basic Black Paper: Rose Red, Blushing Bride and Love Blossoms DSP (140548) Accessories: It's My Party Enamel Dots (140554), Clear Wink of Stella ((141897) and Strawberry Slush Bakers Twine (retired),  Today is the last day to take advantage of the best Stampin' UP! sale - " Sale-a-bration "!  All orders of $50 or more at my ...

Happy Together for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Easter! I hope you are feeling blessed and grateful today. This week we have a fun challenge with a rainbow of colors for you to play along with at Sunday Stamps!  Here's challenge no. 123:  Isn't this challenge picture cute?  I don't have any unicorn stamps, so I decided to focus on the rainbow itself.  Here's what I came up with using the Pedal Pusher SAB stamp set: Do you recognize the DSP behind the bicycle?  It's really a trick question because I created it using a baby wipe and ink refills.  Nothing complicated here. I just dabbed a few drops of ink onto a one of my stamp cases (ha- I know right?) and then grabbed some ink with a baby wipe, and literally wiped it across the DSP.  This is the  Irresistibly Yours DSP  from last years Sale-a-bration. There is something very similar to this awesome paper in the  2015-2016 annual catalog. It is called  Color Me Irresistible  (138439) and can be found on ...

Sunburst Birthday

Hello! Let me begin by saying  "aaahhhh". Yes, I finally am feeling normal over here.  My computer was acting up, and I thought I could fix it- insert laughter.  Well, I am no computer specialist, and ended up taking it in.  They had to "refresh" my windows program.  In doing this, I lost stuff.  Stuff I needed. Well after many days (and chocolate and coffee) I now have the programs I need to blog. Yippee! Today, I am sharing a card I made using the Sunburst Sayings and Sunburst Thinlits  bundle (140807).  Stampers made a card similar to this at my March Make and Take class. After cutting a circle out of the Sunburst Thinlit, I used my bone folder to curl the Crushed Curry sun ray out a bit.   Other supplies: It's My Party DSP stack (140552), 1 3/8" circle punch (119860), 1 1/4" circle punch (119861), It's My Party Enamel Dots (140556). Sunday Stamps! #122

Hello, and happy Sunday!  I have a fun card to share with you today.  It's based off of the new challenge at Sunday Stamps! . This week we are working with "dots" sorta speak.  You can use the dots literally, or create a scene that fits the layout. It's really up to you to decide.  Here's the challenge: Lots of ideas where floating around in my head, but here's what I decided to create using the Balloon Celebration stamp set and Balloon Bouquet punch Bundle (140810)- say that fast 3 times! Ha! I also used the Lucky Stars Texturizing Embossing Folder (135817), and a small piece of It's My Party DSP. Balloon Celebration stamp set  Balloon Bouquet punch Luck Stars Texturized Embossing Folder  I love Stampin' UP!'s bundle sets!  I also like how nicely the Lucky Stars EF works with this set. :) Colors are: Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry, Soft Sky and Basic Black. This challenge runs until Good F...

Little Sunshine

A quick and cute card to share with you today.  When I am creating at my stamp table, I usually end up with a "pile" of stamped images or phrases that I decided not to use, but can't just throw away.  Can you relate?  When I finally decide to clean my stamp table, I transfer these unused images to a container.  I love to thumb thru this container and put different pieces together. This cute little chick from the Sale-a-bration Honeycomb Happiness stamp set was sitting there waiting for me to do something with it. So I did!  After making this cute baby card, I decided to make another one in blue. Love this stamp set!  It can be yours for FREE with a $50 order at my online store during Stampin' UP!'s Sale-a-bration which ends March 31, 2016. Thanks for stopping by!

Make and Take Sneak Peak

Hello, crafty friends!  Today, I am sharing one of the projects we will be making at my Make and Take Class being held on Saturday, March 12, 2016. For this card, stampers will be focusing on sponging, and a little bit of watercoloring.  I will also be showing how easy it is to stamp the lamb without the "happy easter" phrase and not have to cut it apart. Today is the last day to reserve your spot for my class!!  HOWEVER, if you place a $50 order or more at my online store using Hostess Code: HV4JHT2E  between now and March 12, 2016, I will send you all 4 projects we will be making no later than March 16, 2016, so that you have plenty of time to copy this Easter card and treat bag giving you plenty of time to get them done and ready for Easter weekend! (Not to mention the other 3 projects!)  Yippee!! A PDF explaining how to make each proejct will also be included! Please email me by today if you are local and would like to attend my class in person...
