Bonus Stamp Set

Hello, and happy Thursday crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a card I made with the bonus stamp set from the March 2022 Beyond the Horizon Paper Pumpkin Kit . I followed the Paper Pumpkin box colors (literally) for the colors used for my creation. My colors are: So Saffron, Bumblebee, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Early Espresso inks. The bonus stamp set contains a flower stamp with 3 flowers grouped together. Since it is a photopolymer stamp set, I was able to cut one of the flowers off very easily and that is exactly what I did. :) I also added Early Espresso leaves and a sentiment using the Paper Pumpkin kit stamp set as well. You can also see that I added the "texture" looking stamp very subtly using Crumb Cake ink (first stamping off onto scratch paper) randomly across the white areas of my stamped panel.  I also added Dimensionals to some of the hand flowers and the sentiment to finish my floral scene. --------------------------------------------------...

Goodbye Misty Moonlight

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a floral card using some of the retiring products that I have enjoyed and will miss. I paired these retiring products with the Nature's Harvest Bundle along with the Meadow Dies.    The Natures Harvest Bundle works fantastically with the Quiet Meadow Bundle. Both are carrying over to the new annual catalog, but will not longer be sold as a bundled savings of 10%. Can you see which retiring products I used besides the In Color Misty Moonlight? They are the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder and the Tailored Tag Punch. I colored my daisy flowers using Soft Suede, Misty Moonlight and the leaves with Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I added some Misty Moonlight ink dots before embossing my Basic White panel with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder and then layered it onto a Crumb Cake cardstock piece with a strip of retiring Misty Moonlight DSP.  To hid the break at the DSP/Basic White pieces, I added a strip of Crum...

Paper Pumpkin

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing the alternative ideas I made using the March Paper Pumpkin Kit called Beyond the Horizon.  The kit makes 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs).  I love the simplicity of the kits and the fact that they always have adorable coordinating envelopes. Hence, they  make for great gift giving and/or gift sets.  Here's my slightly altered versions of each card in the kit. I cut each of the beautiful water colored cards in half and added my own colored cardstock bases and then used the remaining back half piece to complete the inside. My first alteration focuses on the beautiful mountain scene which highlights the color Misty Moonlight.  As a result, I decided to pair it with a Misty Moonlight card base. I added a Early Espresso and Old Olive tree using the Beautiful Trees Dies, and some Old Olive grass in the forefront using the Palm Dies. For my second altered card, I colored the top part of a greenery piece from the kit with a ...
