Country Flowers for you

 Happy Sunday, crafty friends. Today I am sharing a birthday card perfect for any Fall loving recipient. You can NOT go wrong with the Country Woods Suite. This suite is my top favorite from the annual catalog. Blue and rust tones are one of my favorite color pairings and I was excited to see these colors for this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! In following this weeks challenge, I used the following Stampin' Blends to color my country flowers and watering can: Cajun Craze; Pumpkin Pie, Petal Pink; Copper Clay; Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight; and Balmy Blue. To make my flowers really pop, I adhered them with Dimensionals onto a soft blue lace pattern of DSP from the Country Lace 12" x 12" DSP.  Instead of coloring the stool with Stampin' Blends, I chose to stamp and die cut a blue woodgrain piece of DSP from the Country Woods 12" x 12" DSP. Thinking of You for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy and happy Sunday! Today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and we have a fun sketch for you to play along with created by Laurie. This is a great challenge in that you can use leftover scrap papers or in my case cut into a new pack of DSP. :)  For this creation I used the gorgeous Regal Winter 12" x 12" DSP and paired it with Wild Wheat and Early Espresso cardstock. I cut each of the three strips of Regal Winter DSP to measure 3/4" x 4 3/8" and then layered it onto three Early Espresso cardstock pieces measuring 7/8" x 4 1/2".  This particular pattern is my absolute favorite as I love fall warm colors. To jazz it up a bit, I embossed the Wild Wheat cardstock layer with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.   I also added 2 flower clusters from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set and my sentiment is from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set.
