Sunday Stamps! Challenge #357

Happy Sunday! Today starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and this week it's all about color.  I chose to use the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle  in which I received the Beautiful Butterflies stamp as my free Sale-a-bration item.  . I used the Hybrid Embossing Folder and embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock and then cut it into 2 pieces for my split card front.  I then die cut and embossed the large butterfly using Gorgeous Grape cardstock with the Hybrid Embossing Folder. Next, I die cut a Basic White butterfly top and randomly sponged in Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather inks.  I did the same for the two smaller butterflies-making them a little lighter in color. Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! To play along with this weeks color challenge simply follow the challenge guidelines below: Use any brand of product you have.  Link your new project created for this challenge (no back links).  When posting your creation make sure t...

Spring Garden

Happy Sunday! Today starts another new week and also a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!. This week we are working with a sketch and here's what I made using the Storybook Friends Bundle. This weeks sketch challenge is perfect for showcasing your favorite flower set but I decided to stretch my creative juices and came up with this happy little scene with the Storybook Friends.  I just love that little bunny holding a radish and wanted to incorporate him standing on top of the garden hill.  I changed the hill of carrots to radishes and extended the ground area with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker followed by Stampin' Blends.  Super fun and easy to do. After completing my garden scene, I hand cut it out and adhered my images to a piece of Balmy Blue DSP from the Beautiful Bokeh 6" x 6" DS paper. Storybook Friends

Today's post focuses on the Storybook Friends Bundle.   As I have stated in past posts, the first time I opened the Storybook Friends stamp set, I decided to stamp and color each of the different animals and then I ended up setting them a side.  Today, I am sharing how I chose to use Mr. Peter Rabbit. Mr. Peter Rabbit is colored with Smoky Slate, and Wild Wheat Stampin' Blends. The lettuce he is holding is colored with Granny Apple Green and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. He is placed with Dimensionals onto a Mossy Meadow die cut frame (love) with a Basic Beige die cut center.  My framed scene and hand cut sentiment were added to 3 1/4" x 3 7/8" piece of Storybook Moments 12" x 12" DSP followed by a Mossy Meadow cardstock layer. This was then adhered to a Basic Beige card base that was embossed with the F orever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. To finish off my card, I added some 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots.  These dots are perfect for embellishing a...
