My sister's B-day

Here's the card I made way in advance (finally a card way in advance-thank you) for my sister Kristin's B-day. I wanted to post it earlier but wanted to make sure she saw it in the mail first. Happy Birthday, Kristin!!!! I am so happy I got the Wonderful Favorites stamp set. I love it! After I made this card...which I love very much, I made a bunch of them using different family phrases such as friend, aunt, mother, etc... It was a lot of fun. I love this layout and plan to use it again...so don't be surprised if you see it again! Have a great day! Annette

Just Like You

This set is retiring as it is the Ronald McDonald annual charity set and I will be missing it. I love when SU makes stamp sets match paper so I stocked up on Flowers for You DS paper. But for this particular card I used Spring Break DS paper. It turned out to be one of my fav's that I made in Canada. The other stamp set used to create this card was Fundamental Phrases. Well, no sports today...a free day for all of us!!! We will be heading to town to do a little shopping today! Have a great weekend! Annette

Orange you cute!

I had a bunch of leftover DS paper scraps and used them to create the background of this "orange" card. I added stickles the the orange slice. Another quick and easy card to mass produce to give away as a gift set! Do you think this set will make it into the new catty? Have a great day! Annette

She's a cupcake

Here's the first card I made with the Big Bold Birthday stamp set in honor of my cousin's daughter who is turning the big six next week. I used heat and stick to add glitter to the Three For You flowers and punched them out. I would have used my word window punch for the "make a wish" but I forgot to bring it to Canada....the large oval looks okay, doesn't it? So I ended up making 6 of these cards to go along with the 6 boy versions I made. I love this DS paper...but of course it is retiring. As a matter of fact all DS paper is retiring!!!! Wow, we are going to be busy stocking up on new DS paper soon, ay? Have a great day. I have tons of kid activities today! Annette

Another Tart & Tangy- cherry!

Super easy, super quick and super fun! I love punches, I love matching ink, paper and ribbon! What more could a stampin girl ask for? (except more...tee..hee). Have a great day! See you tomorrow! Annette

Birthday Celebration!

Here's another card I made using the Spring Break DS paper and the Big Bold Birthday stamp set. What took me so long to get this set???? This paper will be gone as it has retiring In Colors in it. I will post again on Monday. Untill then....have a great weekend! Annette

Scallop circle punch card

Remember during salebration at one of my make and takes we made a card using the Birthday Whimsy set? Remember that we used the scallop circle punch to make the top of the cake?....well that's what I did here for this quick card. Instead of cutting out the stamped image for the top of the cup cake, I just punched the scallop out and cut it in half and stamped the polka dots on it. So now its a "cake", not a cupcake! DS paper is Cutie Pie. Happy stampin' Annette

I'm back from Canada!

I started unpacking my stamping supplies I brought with me to Canada and randomly just grabbed a card to post. I made 6 of these for boys using the Spring Break DS paper and 6 girl cards using Flowers For You DS paper. I will post that card later. As for our family trip....it was very relaxing. The weather could have been better during the later half of the week, but the kids love hanging at the cabin even if its raining. I did not stamp as much as I usually do...but that's just fine with me. I will post a card everyday this week to show you what I worked on. I will also post some pictures of the boys and their keeper fish! Happy stampin' Annette

The new upcoming SU catalog will be all die-cut!!!

Yep, isn't that exciting! Finally! We've been waiting long enough...no more cutting stamps- ya-who! I am off to Canada with my family for the week and want to write a quick post to all of you. The hodgepodge in the current catalog is 25% now until August 8, 2008. I have seen a sneak peak at Level 2 and Level 3 Hostess sets...and I have also seen a sneak peek at products to be released in the upcoming catalog! Cute paper, some nice buttons, a scallop punch, and a new item that contains textured card stock, DS paper and a sheet of matching adhesives, ribbon, buttons and brads...all you need to do is add your own stamps!!!! I really like that! List price was only $15.95!!! I really like it and have it on my list! So, off I go packing....see you in about a week and I am sure I will have some cards to share...as I love to stamp at the cabin! Have a great 4 th of July! Hugs, Annette
