Last Day of Sale-a-bration!

Hello, crafty friends! Today is the last day to receive FREE Sale-a-bration product and today I am sharing an easy and fun creation I made using one of the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp sets called ISLAND VIBES. I just love how the images of this stamp set contain so much detail. It has so much detail that it looks like a real pineapple. Although you could color this images, it certainly looks fantastic just inked up and stamped. For this creation, I used my Stamparatus (love this tool so much!) and sponged in Garden Green, Crushed Curry and Soft Sued inks onto my pineapple before stamping onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I love the realistic look of the blending it created.  Plus, because I used my  Stamparatus, I could add more ink where I thought it needed it.  I layered my stamped pineapple onto a piece of Garden Green cardstock that was die cut with the STITCHED RECTANGLE DIES and embossed with the TASTEFUL TEXTILE EMBOSSING FOLDER.   To continue wi...

Let's Set Sail Bundle

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you are having a good week. I must first start with stating that I pray for world peace instead of war.  Today, I have a Let's Set Sail card to share with you. I paired the Let's Set Sail with the Gentle Waves Background stamp set.   You may not have noticed this, but I turned the Gentle Waves stamp set "upside down" before stamping it onto my Basic White panel to create a straight line of water.  Hence, I am showing you another way to use this stamp. :) To create a little more depth to my water, I then added Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Misty Moonlight ink using a Blending Brush. The boat is stamped using Misty Moonlight and Crushed Curry ink and punched out with the coordinating Sailboat Builder punch. So fun and so easy! To complete my scene, I added a Crushed Curry sun from the Paradise Palms stamp set and a few die cut clouds from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. Don't miss out on Sale-a-bration, My Friendly Hello PDF Card C...

Sunday Stamps! #277

Hello, and happy wintry Sunday!  I have to say that I think we have all had enough of the cold, snow and wind here in Minnesota!  How's the winter been where you live? I am thinking we could all use a little warmth and perhaps a blossoming fields of flowers inspiration, right?! I had so much fun creating this card using the Tulip Fields Bundle. It was super easy to create the fun windmill and now I have an interactive card as the blades actually move on my card! lol I used Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue inks to create a field of flowers before placing my Soft Suede and Early Espresso windmill over top using Dimensionals. I stamped some Balmy Blue inked clouds in the sky and then went back over my sky and added a light Balmy Blue ink using a Blending Brush. My completed panel was added to a Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue cardstock layer followed by a Basic White card base. I then added a row of Bermuda Bay and Basic White flowers in front of my windmill with Dimensionals using th...

Driving By

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a fun card I made using three different Sale-a-bartion products.   As we wind down with the "sale-a-brating" for Sale-a-bration, I thought I would share a fun idea with you in how you can use some of your new Sale-a-bration goodies. :) For this creation, I used: 1) Driving By; 2) Island Vibes and 3) Simply Marbleous 6" x 6" DSP. To create my leaf background, I simply stamped the Island Vibes image on each corner of a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" Basic White cardstock panel using Crushed Curry ink. Then I went back and inked up a partial leaf area using the corner of my stamp pad and filled in the open areas on the top and bottom.  Super easy and fun to do. Next, I stamped the bus on a scrap piece of Basic White and colored the chrome and tires using Smoky Slate and  Basic Black Stampin' Blends.  I then stamped the bus on a piece of Crushed Curry Simply Marbelous DSP and hand cut it out before adhering it my colored bus. My...
