Quite Curvy Bundle

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing one of the projects made by my local customers using the retiring Quite Curvy Bundle.   I am very sad to see this bundle go.   Please note:  This bundle is not part of the Last Chance promotion as it is still available in the 2021 Mini Catalog (which ends on June 30, 2021) but it will not be carried over to the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.   To create this card, we first added Seaside Spray ink to the lower part of a precut Seaside Spray cardstock layer using the Blending Brushes to create a slight ombre effect.  Next, we colored the birds, leaves and flowers using Seaside Spray, Smoky Slate, Old Olive, Mint Macaron, and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. After die cutting out the images, they were assembled close to the Basic White card base using Dimensionals along the curvy die cut bottom of the card front followed by stamping the curvy sentiment using Memento Black ink in the middle of the Seaside Spray...

Cherry Blossom Trees

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a SNEAK PEEK of a new bundle called Beauty of  the Earth  which is part of the Beauty of the Earth Suite found on page 10-11 of the new upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. This suite contains products with beautiful earth tone colors, but I wanted to make a few more Mother's Day cards so I decided to incorporate the new 2021-2023 In Colors with the bundle for a more feminine look. :) My cherry blossom trees were stamped using Polished Pink, and Blushing Bride inks for the tree tops and Soft Suede for the trunks.  My grass landscape was made using Soft Succulent cardstock that was hand cut along one edge and embossed with the retiring 3D Subtle Embossing Folder. I adhered my die cut trees and grass to a Basic White panel that was embossed with the 3D Ornate Floral Die and then layered onto a Soft Suede cardstock piece and finally onto a Basic White card base. Next, I added a few hearts from the Floral Heart Dies to the tree tops, ...

Winter Woods

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a fun card I made for a customer who submitted  her PERKS rewards for the Winter Woods stamp set.  If I have time (sometimes I actually do- lol), I try to make a card for inspiration for them.  The Winter Woods stamp set and matching In the Woods Dies are retiring, and as I said before - I am trying to give my retiring products a little more love before they are gone. To start my card, I created my sunset background using Polished Pink, Blushing Bride and Seaside Spray ink with the awesome Blending Brushes. After heat setting it, I stamped the row of trees using Versamark and then embossed the trees using Gold Embossing Powder. My embossed panel was then die cut using the Rectangle Stitched Dies and then layered onto a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock followed by the Fine Art 3/8" Metallic gold Ribbon and then finally a Basic White card base.  I also embossed the sentiment in Gold Embossing Powder and then punched out ...

Sunday Stamps! #255

Hello, and happy Sunday crafty friends. Today, starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Dressed To Impress stamp set and the matching  All Dressed Up Dies.   I had originally pulled the Dressed To Impress stamp set to make a different project but changed my mind at the last minute. Since it was still sitting on my desk, I decided to use it for this weeks new challenge. Here's this weeks new color challenge. Aren't these colors gorgeous together? My colors are: Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray, and Just Jade. I colored the parfum bottle using Seaside Spray and Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends. After die cutting it out, I added a coating of Clear Wink of Stella to the front of the bottle.  My flowers were colored with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends for the petals; Dark Balmy Blue for the flower centers and Dark Just Jade for the the leaves.  For added fun, I created a light blue hue in the center of my whi...
