Sunday Stamps! #121: Botanicals For You

Hello, crafty friends! I have a fun card to share with you for the new challenge at Sunday Stamps! . My most favorite Framelit set that I will never get tired of using is the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits (137547)   which debuted in the 2015 Occasions catalog.  One word: Love.   I used the beautiful Perfectly Artistic DSP as my card base which was one of the FREE SAB items that "retired" on February 15, 2016.  The sentiment is from the Botanicals for You SAB stamp set (141237), and the cute little die cut flowers were made using the Botanical Builders Framelits (140625) which matches the Botanicals for You SAB stamp set perfectly.   I added some sparkle to my card using a new FREE SAB item: White Metallics Glitter Tape which became available on February 16, 2016.  Here's this weeks challenge at Sunday Stamps! The colors I used: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. It is hard to see in the photo, but I stamped the cut...

Mash It Up!

Hello, crafty friends. Today's card showcases 3 different stamp sets that I "mashed" together.  Here's my card: Can you figure it out?  I used the Birthday Blooms stamp set, the Bloomin' Love stamp set and the What I Love SAB stamp set.  I embossed a piece of Pool Party cardstock using the Honeycomb embossing folder (page 174 Annual) and stamped the dots in White craft from the Birthday Blooms stamp set randomly into the honeycombs. I stamped the flower images in Archival Basic Black ink and then watercolored them using my Aqua Painter and Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow ink refills. The beauitful paper (my favorite DSP from the Occasions)  is the Birthday Bouquet DSP (page 9 Occassions).  To finish it off, I added some sparkle to the flowers using the Clear Wink of Stella (page 24 Occasions), silver sequins and Basic Pearls. A great card for a great friend!                         ...

It's Your 11th Birthday!

All from the Occasions catalog. Here's my card: Notice how well these 3 stamp sets work together.  I will be using this layout again, just changing the DPS to fit the person I have in mind.           Number of Years                                  Ballon Celebration                     Sunbrust Sayings Colors are: Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry.  Thanks for stopping by today! And who doesn't like FREE stuff?? Especially if it all matches! Colors are straight from the DSP: Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.  I also used the Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder , the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (page 12 Occasions), and the flower centers are the It's My Party Enamel Dots (page 6 Occasions). Happy 21st Birthday!

Hello, and happy Friday!  I can't believe its already the end of the week! You haven't heard from me because somewhere, somehow, I picked up the stomach flu bug.  I am slowly starting to feel better but as you can imagine, I am behind on everything! So here's a quick post sharing the card I made for my oldest who turned the big twenty-one: I used the Sunburst Sayings Bundle and the Number of Years Bundle - both from the Occasions catalog.   I also used the Limited Time Sale-a-bration designer series paper called Perfectly Artistic which can be found on page 19 of the Sale-a-bration brochure and is available only until February 15, 2016. That's it for today! But don't forget to stop by on Sunday and see what the new challenge is at Sunday Stamps!  Until then, happy stamping!

Bloomin' Crumb Cake Valentine

Hello, and happy Friday!  The sun is finally shinning this afternoon so I took the opportunity to take a quick picture of a Valentine card I made this morning using the beautiful   Bloomin' Love stamp and  Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Die bundle.  I followed  the color challenge at Can You Case It . Here's my card: I had so much fun making this!  Colors are: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Basic Black and White.  I die cut two hearts and glue them together. I, then sponged Crumb Cake ink on the bottom, and White craft ink at the top. To make it really pop, I used dimensionals to attach it to the card front. Although, I did NOT get to enter my card into the challenge, here's their challenge: And here's the supplies I used to create my Valentine card: Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you have a great weekend!  Happy Stamping!
