Sunday Stamps! #308

Hello, and happy Sunday to my crafty friends! Today, I am sharing  a creation  I made using the retiring Cottage Rose Bundle following our new sketch challenge created by Melissa at Sunday Stamps! I love to color and decided to try out some of the new 2023-2025 In Color Stampin' Blends: Copper Clay, Pebbled Path and Wild Wheat. I loved how my flower turned out and decided to make a vintage themed card so I added Pebbled Path ink to my white background layer using a retired mask. To continue my vintage card, I destressed my DSP pieces and then added some Pebbled Path ink to the distressed edges.  I then cut a piece of the new Copper Clay 3/8" Textured Ribbon in half and frayed the ends. Lastly, I added some of the new Copper Clay Adhesive Backed Gems from the Fresh as a Daisy Suite to finish of my card.  I absolutely LOVE the new 2023-2204 In Colors! :) Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! : To play along simply follow Sunday Stamps! guidelines bel...

Two-Tone Flora Bundle

Hello to my crafty friends! I have been busy preparing for a  class I am having tomorrow and finally have a free moment to share another creation with you. This time I am sharing a creation made with the Two-Tone Flora Bundle. Although there is gorgeous coordinating Fancy Flora DSP for this bundle, I wanted to pair it with the retiring Pretty Prints 12" x 12" DSP and chose the Calypso Coral colored piece. This paper may have been overlooked but I can tell you that it is very pretty and works fantastically with any flower set you have.  Pretty Prints 12" x 12" DSP $12.00   $8.40 Can you image making several Cases of this particular card using the other main colors in this DSP: Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry and Evening Evergreen?!  Yes! And although these colors are retiring, adding this beautiful DSP will not doubt help you to utilize those retiring cardstock colors and that is exactly what my plan for this DSP. :) My Two-Tone Flora flowers were stamped using Petal P...

Sunday Stamps! #307

Today, I have a fun card to share using mostly all retiring products and also sharing a sneak peek of a new color joining the Subtles Collection called Bubble Bath.  I combined the Full Basket Dies with the Hydrangea Haven stamp set and coordinating Hydrangea Dies to create a flower pot scene. The basket is made using Bubble Bath and Basic Black cardstock. The flowers were stamped using Bubble Bath and Polished Pink inks and then I colored the centers of the flowers using a Polished Pink Stampin' Blend. The leaves were stamped using Evening Evergreen and Old Olive inks.  My flower pot was added to a Basic Black cardstock layer die cut with the retiring Stitched Rectangle Dies and a piece of retiring Perfectly Penciled 12" x 12" DSP before adhering it to a Basic White card base. My card follows this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! below: To join for this week's challenge and to showcase your creativity, simply create a card following the Sunday Stamps! cha...

Last call for my Petal Park Card Class!

Hello to my crafty friends! We are having some awesome weather here in Minnesota...finally! Major snow melt over the past 2 days and I can now see most of my yard. :) Today is going to be another  gorgeous day in the upper 70's! Yah!  Today, I am sharing another Gingko Branch creation I made that I haven't posted. For this one, I basically followed the same layout as my previous Ginkgo Branch post, but this time I used the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen inks and added some die cuts from the retiring Pretty Prints 12" x 12" DSP. I also changed up the embossed Basic White layer and embossed it with the "dots" folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folder pack. I know I have said this a million times, but I will be missing Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. They are beautiful colors and compliment each other perfectly. The Gingko Branch stamp set is already gone but the coordinating Gingko Branch Dies are still available for only $36.00 $14.40! Today is...
