Flowering Tulips

Hello crafty friends.  Now that Christmas is over, I need to send some thank you cards for the special people in my life and although I am still visiting with my daughter, I did find some time yesterday to craft. With lots of new goodies on my shelf, I choose to create using another new bundle from the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog called FLOWERING TULIPS.  There are many different ways you can use this stamp set to in creating the tulips. For this creation, I chose to stamp the Two Step flower directly onto Mango Melody colored cardstock using Pumpkin Pie and Mango Melody ink. I slimmed the width of a Basic White cardstock panel and then embossed it with the TIMBER 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER.  Next, I added a strip of FLOWERING FIELDS 12" x 12" DSP near the bottom and then layered it onto a Mango Melody layer with a piece of Evening Evergreen 3/8" Sheer Ribbon.   I liked my card so much that I decided to make a few more using different colors and patterns of ...

Sunday Stamps! #273

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebration! I can not believe 2021 is almost over and we are getting ready for another New Year.  What is your New Years wish going to be? I am praying for a happier and healthier New Year for all of us.   Today is Sunday and that means its time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! It also means that its time to share more new products from the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog! Woot-Woot! This time I chose to create with a new bundle called Cactus Cuties.  This bundle contains a 14 piece Photopolymer stamp set and a matching Cactus Builder punch. You will find it on page 66 of the new mini catalog. My dad lives in Arizona so maybe her will be the recipient of some of my creations using it. lol I stamped the pot in Night of Navy ink and the cactus plant using Bumblebee ink and punched them out using the Cactus Builder punch.  After assembling my plant,  I added some punched flowers to the ca...

New Bundle: Let's Set Sail

Hello, crafty friends. Today I am sharing a new creation using a new bundle from the upcoming January - June 2022 Mini Catalog called Let's Set Sail. This is a 9 piece photopolymer stamp set that has a matching Sailboat Builder punch and can be found on page 70 of the new 2022 mini catalog. I paired the Let's Set Sail  stamp set with a new Sale-a-bration item called the  Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" DSP. You can get this fun DSP for  FREE with a $50 order starting on January 4th and running through February 28, 2022. I stamped my sailboat using Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo and Mango Melody inks to match a striped piece of DSP from the Sunshine & Rainbows  Sale-a-bration DSP.   To create a little interest and texture to my stamped scene, I added a Basic White piece of cardstock that was embossed with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder.  To create my sun, I used a Blending Brush with Daffodil Delight ink. And lastly, I added some twine from the Playful P...

Merriest Moments

Hello, crafty friends. I am happy to announce that I am finally finished with all of my Christmas crafting for 2021. Yah! However, today I decided to make one more creation using a set I recently purchased called The Merriest Moments Bundle .  This is a hybrid bundle (which is new to me) and can be found on page 43 of the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I have seen so many cute creations with this set that it somehow ended up in my shopping cart. Can you relate? lol  And I must say that I had no idea how cool the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder really was. Oh my goodness! It's 100 times easier then my brain comprehended.  lol To try it out, I used a scrap piece of white cardstock and embossed and die cut the floral arrangement using the hybrid embossing folder and dies and then just sat back and admired it. :)  Finally after I was done drooling on it, I decided that there was so much detail in my die cut and embossed piece of white cardstock that I would ju...
