Strawberry Flowers

Hello, and happy Friday!  Today, I am sharing another creation using the Pretty Florals Bundle .  This creation is dressed in Strawberry Slush. There are 2 sets of flower images in the Pretty Florals Bundle that create three flowers for the leaves and stems. Both of the flower images are so pretty highlighted just by themselves, and that is what I focused on. Flowers and stems were stamped with Bubble Bath, Strawberry  Slush and Granny Apple Green inks. I created a network of frames and layers using the Florals in Bloom 12" x 12" DSP with Strawberry Slush cardstock with the Perennial Postage Dies. I added a piece of S trawberry Slush 3/8" Faux Linen Ribbon and 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls to finish it off. STAMPIN' UP UPDATES:     Stampin' UP! will be phasing out of red rubber stamps (cling) due to challenges in acquiring materials needed to make rubber.  As a result, they will only offering photopolymer stamps  in the future as the supply ...

A Peachy Floral Thank you

Greetings to my crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a super easy creation using the Pretty Florals Bundle which can be found on page 42 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. To create my flowers, I stamped the flower petals using Peach Pie ink and then added the outlined part of the flowers using Timid Tiger ink.  The stems of the flowers were stamped using Garden Green ink. In examining my stash of Peach Pie cardstock, I found an pre-embossed piece using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder  and decided it would be perfect for a background layer. Next, I found another pre-embossed piece of  Basic White cardstock and cut it down to fit my flowers.  to hide my cardstock lines, I added a piece of Peach Pie 3/8" Bordered Ribbon -which you can still find in the Last Chance section of the Stampin' UP! website. I love all the different textures of this card. It really makes every thing just pop. This would be an easy card to make in different colors and make a gift set. :) I ...

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...
