AESTAMPS A LATTE

I have another Wonderland card creation to share with you today.  I have actually made about 8 different cards using this amazing set!  Today I am sharing a "Merry" creation that also spotlights the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies .  This ide set is the perfect size, has a perfect font and has the pefect words for Christmas! So many fun items used for this Merry card!  The tree image was stamped in white craft ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  A second set of trees was stamped in white craft ink without being embossed.  I used the  Softly Falling textured 6 x 6 embossing folder  on the main white panel and added some retired silver washi tape.  The edges were distressed using my fingernail and adhered to a piece of   Stacked with Love DSP  from the retired 2015 Occasions catalog.   This paper is on the Clearnance Rack right now!   And how about that "Merry"?  Isn't it just scrumptious? ...

I know its only September, so I shouldn't be saying "let it snow" especially here in Minnesota!  Note to Mother Nature: I was just kidding! Please keep this beautiful weather here. :) This card was made for this weeks sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps! . I was very excited to use the very versatile Happy Scenes stamp set from the Holiday catalog (page11).  This set is perfect for all the upcoming holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  And I love that it has plenty of matching phrases to choose from.  I love the font, and the size is just perfect for card making.  How about that snow? Pretty adorable if you ask me. I stamped the pine trees with Archival Basic Black ink and colored the trees with my Aqua painter and Mossy Meadow ink refill. Super quick and easy to do. Have you seen the Winter Wonderland collection in the Holiday Catalog? Stampin' UP! has put together a fabulous winter set accented in metallic gold and black.  I love the richness and woodsy feel this collection brings.  Here's a card showing you what I mean: The beautiful tall trees were stamped in Versamark ink directly onto the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP and were then embossed in white.  This was layered onto a piece of Pool Party cardstock and then adhered to a white cardstock base.  The deer antlers were stamped in Versamark ink and embossed in gold and fussy cut out.  The sentiment embossed in gold on Pool Party brings the richness of the black and white down a bit for an over all soft woodsy feel.  And to finish the card off,  I added a few gold sequins and a piece of Gold Cording Trim .  Here's the supplies for creating this card. Hello, crafty friends. I am excited to share a project I made using the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set and matching DSP called Into the Woods . I love the bright and cheerful colors in this paper- they are perfect for fall creations.  Here's my thankful for you card creation: After I finished the card, I decided that a matching treat box was in order so I got out the NEW Square Pillow Box Thinlits Die and created this: I used the Brick Wall embossing folder on a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock for the side piece on the front of the card, and also on the Early Espresso box itself.  Both were first inked up in their matching ink color (Crushed Curry and Early Espresso) before running it through the Big Shot. Hello, and Happy Sunday! This week at Sunday Stamps! we have a color challenge for you to play along with.  Here's the sketch: And here's what I made using the following Stampin' UP! colors: Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron. I used the awesome stamp set called Garden in Bloom . You can find it on page 119 of the annual catalog.  I also used the Brick Wall 6 x6 embossing folder.  Such a fun folder! For this card I gently inked up one side of the folder with Crushed Curry ink and ran it thru my Big Shot. I then sponged a little bit on the edges of the "bricks" themselves.  A tone on tone effect looks perfect together.  How about that cute bee?  Love it!  I also used another stamp set. Let me know, and I will get one off to you!   So to get this party started, I am sharing one of my top favorite Halloween creations I have made using the Sweet Haunting stamp set (page47), the Witches Night stamp set (the cob webs) (page 7) and the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies set (page 11).  Here it is: I first stamped the bottles of potion using the NEW Archival Basic Black pad (page 19) and colored them using my retired Blendabilites.  I then masked the middle "poison" bottle and sponged in Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango ink.
