Adventurous Sky for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday! Today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Take to the Sky Suite Collection . This suite contains everything you need to create fabulous easy masculine cards and scrapbook pages. I love that there are several different sized air planes and a die cut pieces in the Adventurous Sky Bundle .  The Take to the Sky 12" x 12" DSP contains many different patterns giving you a variety of crafting options. For this card, I stamped the largest air plane from the Adventurous Sky Bundle using Memento Black ink and colored it using Mossy Meadow, Smoky Slate and Basic Black Stampin' Blends before die cutting it out. I cut 3 strips of the  Take to the Sky 12" x 12" DSP  into 1 1/8" x 4 3/8" pieces for even placement for the front of my Basic White card base.   A very simple and easy design to mass produce using any of the other patterns in the DSP pack. How about those  Industrial Trinkets ?  They are re...

Summer Fun Birthday

Hello crafty friends! It's been a whirlwind for me here in Minnesota.  I have been traveling to my daughter's recently purchased new home, helping celebrate and prepare for her upcoming wedding in August and squeezing in a little time with family and friends at our cabin along the way. In total, I think I have been home four of the days in July so far! :0 But today I am sharing a birthday card I made for a dear friend and long time customer using products from the Unbound Beauty Suite. This card highlights the color Petunia Pop.  Petunia Pop works well with Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss. Although the flower image from the Flowers of Beauty Bundle contains a Two-Step stamp for coloring in the flower, I chose to color it with Stampin' Blends.  The leaves however were not colored with Blends but rather stamped as provided in the set. I used a small strip of Unbound Beauty DSP to match my Petunia Pop color flowers and a piece of Basic White cardstock that was embossed wit...

Sunday Stamps! #339

Hello, and happy Sunday to my crafty friends!Today starts a new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Trucking Along Bundle . To create my card: I punched out a truck using the Trucking Along Builder punch with Boho Blue cardstock and added a window and wheels (stamped) using Very Vanilla cardstock. Using a Blending Brush , I created a sunrise sky using Pumpkin Pie and Boho Blue inks onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped the road using Memento Black ink and colored it with a Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend. I then stamped the flower image for the back of the truck and colored the flowers using Cajun Craze and Boho Blue Stampin' Blends. My sky was looking a little plain so I stamped 3 clouds from the Trucking Along Bundle and hand cut them out before adding it to my sky. In following this weeks challenge, I decided to die cut a square in a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock using the Stylish Shape Dies and adhered my blended sunrise sky sc...
