Hippest Hippos

Hello and happy Friday to my crafty friends! I hope you had a productive week and plan to have a relaxing, fun filled weekend. Today, I am sharing the thank you card I made made for customers who have placed orders with me in July and also qualified to receive my Hippest Hippos PDF Card Class for FREE. I paired my cute hippo with the Butterfly Kisses DSP which can be found in the annual catalog. It is an excellent paper choice to compliment those adorable hippos as it contains many bright and cheery floral patterns that are perfect for summer creations.  I paired my hippo with the Amazing Thanks Dies (which are really amazing); the Stylish Shapes Dies and the Scallop Contours Dies. In my Hippest Hippos PDF Card Class's private link video, I discuss and show different ways you can color the Hippos (even though they are gray) using Stampin' Blends.  Hippest Hippos Sale-a-bration PDF Card Class There are  8 super fun projects (with completed insides) in my Hippest Hipp...

Sunday Stamps! #288

Hello, crafty friends. I hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend. This past week I have been busy with summer and spending time with family and friends and as a result took a little time off from crafting.  I can hardly believe we are now at the end of July! The summer (and time) is moving so fast! I did step back into my craft room to play along with the new challenge at Sunday Stamps! . Since I have so many birthdays in July and August, I chose to make a birthday card using the Shaded Summer stamp set and coordinating Summer Dies.   I love the Shaded Summer stamp set and the coordinating Summer Shadow Dies ! I also love the fact that Stampin' UP! carried them both over to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog as the dies were a past SAB item.  For this project, I decided to emboss the images in gold and pair it with the Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-bration. After embossing the images, I colored them with Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight an...

Sunday Stamps! #287

Hello, and happy Sunday crafty friends. Today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and  here's what I made using the Paradise Palms stamp set and coordinating Palms Dies. This bundle is so much fun and can be combined with many other stamp sets by Stampin' UP! For this card, I paired the Paradise Palms with the Mountain Air stamp set - which is another of my top favorites when making masculine cards. To create my card, I first stamped the mountains using Smoky Slate ink, followed by my water using Tahitian Tide ink and then Pear Pizzazz for the grassy land area.  My color choices follows our new challenge at  Sunday Stamps!.   To play along with us, simply follow the challenge guidelines below: Use any brand of products you have; Link your new project you created for this challenge (no backlinks) to the  Sunday Stamps!  blog; The colors from the challenge must be the primary colors on your project. Please do not combine our colors with...
