Come to Gather Suite

Hello, crafty friends.  I can not believe how busy it has been.  You, too? lol Last night, I finally had some free time to create a project using the Gather Together bundle from the Come To Gather Suite. I had a hard time deciding which of the beautiful designer series papers to use, and ended up with this fun pumpkin pattern pulling out colors of Mint Macaron and Soft Sea Foam. What fun greens to play with for a non-traditional take on Fall.  I just love it!  To create my Fall scene, I stamped the pumpkins in Soft Sea Foam ink and then colored very lightly with my Light Mint Macaron Stampin' Blend.  The leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies cut and emboss! So cool! I die cut the 3 different leaves using Mint Macaron and Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  You can sponged them or leave them as is as I have done here.  It really makes your card pop with texture. I even added a DSP embossed withe Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder for a little more added d...

Magnolia Blooms

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a card made with the photopolymer stamp set called Magnolia Blooms .  This stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle , but you won't find it in the annual catalog.  As you may know, I have a PDF card class surrounding the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle , and I purposely used the Magnolia Blooms stamp set because it matches the Magnolia Lane DSP  and Good Morning Magnolia stamp set perfectly.  As are result, I do recommend the investment of the Magnolia Blooms stamp set to go along with the your Good Morning Magnolia Bundle. :) For those of you who have purchased this bundle or my Good Morning Magnolia PDF Card Class , please consider this another project idea for you. :) I love how easy it is to color the Magnolia Lane DSP to coordinate with whatever color you choose to make your flowers.  For this card, I used my Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. I colored every other flowe...

Sunday Stamps! #212

Happy Sunday, crafty friends! Today, I have a sneak peek of some new products from the Holiday Catalog to share with you following the new challenge at Sunday Stamps! This gorgeous background paper is called the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper and I love the country feel to it.  I see this paper not only for Christmas, but also for masculine cards since there are wild animals (that match the Nature's Beauty stamp set) I am in love with this DSP! What says Christmas better than a big pine tree out in the woods of this country scene? I accented this beautiful paper with some copper accessories found in the Brightly Gleaming Suite.  To create the foliage around my copper embossed sentiment, I cut one B rightly Gleaming Foil Element branch piece into 3 pieces and finished it off with 3 Real Red Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots . It was my turn to create a sketch challenge, and I created an easy one- so there's NO excuse not to play along! Just make sure to sub...
