Bubble Over for #SSC173

Hello, and happy Sunday! Today, starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! .  We are working with a color challenge and here's what I made using the Bubble Over Bundle . Bubble Over Bundle (photopolymer)   Here's the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! : Lemon Lime Twist made me think of Mountain Dew or 7-UP using the Bubble Over Bundle.  And I will have to admit that I got carried away with those fun bubbles!  I couldn't stop making them! ha-ha! I used the "ink smooshing" technique to create my water colored background.  It involves pressing your ink pad to the silicon craft sheet and spritzing water on it.  Next, lay your cardstock on it and "smoosh" the ink on it.  That's it! Very easy! Project Supplies: Bubble Over Bundle,  Hardwood background Thick Whisper White, Whisper White and Basic Gray cardstock Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist ink Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper, Silver Foil Sheets, ...

Springtime Foils Specialty DSP

Eeek! I love the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper!  I knew I would, as I love all of the embossed specialty DSP Stampin' UP! has to offer.  This DSP is unique however.  It is a coated glossy white thick cardstock with beautifully detailed embossed patterns in gold, silver and rose gold. I used a piece of the Rose Gold for this card which matches perfectly with our Copper Foil Sheets and Copper Embossing Powder. I used my Sponge Brayers to create an ombre background using Powder Pink and Berry Burst inks.  Sponge Brayering on this beautiful paper is so easy! Gentle pressure moving across the paper and the ink just flows right onto it. :) I embossed the cake from Cake Soiree Bundle  with Copper Embossing Powder and then colored it in using my Stampin' Blends markers.  The "celebrate" thinlit from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies Sale-a-bration is a perfect size for cards but will also be perfect for scrapbook projects. Blossoming Basket Bundle

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a new stamp set called:  Blossoming Basket and its coordinating Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder called:  Basket Weave that is offered together as a BUNDLE in the second release of Sale-a-bration items you can earn for FREE with a $100 order. It's such a pretty basket of flowers and so easy to color with the Stampin' Blends. I used Ivory and Bronze for the basket, Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coal, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves.  Doesn't it match so nicely with the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP? The Basket Weave embossing folder is so cool!  It's so cool that it will be carrying over to the next annual catalog! But why wait to get yours?  Get it as a bundle with the Blossoming Basket stamp set. :) I have a new  IN THE MAIL card class for the Petal Palette Bundle  with three different purchasing options.  Check out my class page...

Sunday Stamps! #SSC172

Hello, crafty friends. Today starts a new challenge over at Sunday Stamps! .  This week we are working with a sketch by Heidi.  Here's my card using two fabulous sets: Beautiful Day and Amazing You . I recently had a friend over to practice coloring with the Stampin' Blends and we talked about how coloring is therapeutic. Can you relate?  So, with coloring was on my mind, I decided to give a go at the Beautiful Day stamp set.  A big bold flower with a thick outline is perfect to practicing your blending skills with the Stampin' Blends markers. To create this card, I actually started with the ribbon.  I looked thru my ribbon stash to find what matched my Stampin' Blends markers.  I chose the Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon from Sale-a-bration and went from there. Card Supplies: Beautiful Day and Amazing You stamp sets (SAB item); Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, and Whisper White cardstock; Bubbles & Fizz DSP (SAB item), Wood Tex...

I used Brusho Crystal Colour to create my watercolor background.  I also water colored the guitar using my Aqua Painter with Island Indigo and Smoky Slate ink.  I added a lot of fun elements such as: Tutti-frutti Backed Sequins, Myths & Magic Specialty Washi Tape, Hearts & Stars Elements and Regal Enamel Shapes.  The guitar and sentiment were hand cut and adhered with Dimensionals. Place an order of at least $50 (before shipping/tax) using my  February Host Code:  WWMR9HXU  and receive the beautiful  Petal Pair Textured Embossing Folders  as my thank you gift. Epic Celebrations

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a few fun cards to share with you using the Epic Celebrations Sale-a-bration stamp set. Say that 3 times! :).  I used this set to create my oldest son's birthday card  recently and decided to make another fun card while it was still sitting out.  Here's the first one using Lemon Lime Twist as my theme. Because this set has a doodle type of sketch effect, it is easy to watercolor just by slapping on a little ink without much effort or thought. Here's my second one focusing on Smoky Slate: And I couldn't forget to make a feminine themed one, so I made one using Powder Pink: These cards will be perfect for the young adults in your life.  How did I pick my colors?  Easy! Take a look at all your beloved ribbon just sitting there.  Grab your favorite (or neglected) ribbon and here's your CASE! Project Supplies: Epic Celebrations and Tabs for Everything stamp sets; Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Basic B...

Heartfelt Blooms

Today, I am sharing one of the recent projects stamp club ladies made using the Heartfelt Blooms Sale-a-bration stamp set. This stamp set is so pretty in person and creates a cluster of beautiful flowers. We stamped the flower cluster in the middle of the Whisper White cardstock piece and then added 3 additional flowers that we hand cut out and popped up with Dimensionals.  Some of the flower centers were colored with Powder Pink using a sponge dauber. We also used a piece of the iridescent washi tape from the Myths and Magic Specialty Washi Tape pack . A few glitter epoxy shapes and a colored Pearl complement it perfectly.
