Storybook Hello Friend

Happy Wednesday to my crafty friends! Today, I am sharing an easy creation using the cutest squirrel image which is from the Storybook Bundle. As you may or may not know, I have been sick most of February and honestly haven't felt like heading to my craft room because of it.  So I know my posting and sharing has been limited and I hope you all understand.  When I first received my Storybook Bundle, I colored and die cut out many of the animal images and this cute squirrel was one of them. I quickly found a home for her using up some pre-embossed (and unused) pieces which paired perfectly with my squirrel.  To color my squirrel, I used the following Stampin' Blends: Pecan Pie; Smoky  Slate; Shy Shamrock; Cherry Cobbler; and  Petal Pink The frames in the Storybook Bundle are absolutely gorgeous and make for a quick and easy card like this.  For fun and to make my card a little more feminine, I added a set of die cut flowers and some die cut leaves from the He...

Cake Celebrations

Happy Sunday! Today we have a new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Cake Celebrations Bundle . I paired my chocolate cake with the Bloom Impressions 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper that you can receive for free with a $60 or more order during Sale-a-bration. The Cake Celebrations stamp set is very versatile in that you can create any size cake and there are numerous options for decorating it.  For this creation, I chose to keep my cake somewhat simple to make it pop against the floral background. I die cut 2 cake pieces using Pecan Pie cardstock and sponged the edges. Next, I die cut some Basic White icing layers and Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight candles.  Next, I added some Daffodil Delight and Peach Pie flowers along with Summer Splash leaves and die cut cake platter.     Here's our new challenge at Sunday Stamps! To play along with this weeks color challenge simply follow the challenge guidelines below: Use any brand ...

Terrific Toadstools

Happy Friday to my crafty friends! Its been a awhile since I have posted as I am still recovering from the crud. It's taking its sweet time but I am slowly getting better each day.   Today I am sharing another creation I made using the Terrific Toadstools Bundle ( item 164790 ). I love when a stamp set has coordinating designer paper and you can't go wrong with receiving a pack of Toadstools Gardens 6" x 6" DSP as your free  Sale-a-bration item with a $60 order.  This is a great pack of paper because there are 8 sheets each of 6 designs in the pack so that you can mass produce crafty creations you really like. I needed some thank you cards for this months orders and I made 2 different versions of the same design using 2 different patterns of Toadstool Gardens DSP. The top one highlights the color Melon Mambo and the one below highlights the color Pumpkin Pie.   In February, when you place an order of  $60  or more using Host Code  XPKYJAJB ...

February's Card Class

Hello, crafty friends! It's been a very long week for me. It is easy to take for granted all the things you can do when your healthy, because not being able to do anything when your sick is so not fun, right?!  I am grateful to be getting better each and every day. I have to remind myself that some people are sick all the time (unfortunately) and give thanks. Today, I am sharing my new card class for February.  It is centered around the Terrific Toadstools Bundle and is paired with the Toadstools  Gardens 6" x 6" DSP from Sale-a-bration.  There are 6 projects in this class, each one using one of the 6 different patterns in the Toadstools Garden DSP. In February, when you place an order of $60 or more using Host Code  XPKYJAJB , you will receive my Terrific Toadstools PDF Card Class and a pack of Adhesive-Backed Sequins (which I used to embellish all of my projects) for FREE ! I also want to remind anyone that is interested that my January Heart Shaped ...
