Merry Christmas!

As I write this post, I hope you find joy, peace and happiness as you celebrate Christmas with your family and friends.  Many blessing to you!  Here are two accordion cards I made using the Wonderful Blessing single stamp from Stampin' UP with the Winter Frost DSP and the Season of Style DSP. Merry Christmas!!

Joy and Love...again!

Here's another Christmas card I made using the Joy and Love Holiday Collection single stamp available thru Stampin' UP! On my previous "Joy and Love" card, I outlined the Joy with my glue pen and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  This time I outlined the Joy with my glue pen and then heat embossed it using Gold embossing powder. Unfortunately the picture does not do it justice with all the sparkle it has because it is still a gloomy rain day here. RECIPE: STAMPS: Joy and Love single stamp INK: Cherry Cobbler, and Whisper White craft pad was used on the Old Olive piece of embossed card stock. PAPER:  Season of Style DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock. ACCESSORIES: Circle Framelits, Deco Labels Framelits, Large Scallop Edgelit, Delicate Designs Embossing folder, Cherry  Cobbler Seam Binding, Paper Doilie,  Champagne Glimmer Paper, Red Rhinestones, retired snowflake sizzlit and non-SU snowflake punch. Happy stamping! ...

Be Merry!

I had a few minutes to stamp today and decided to whip up a Christmas card using the Be Merry single stamp from Stampin' UP!.  This card came together very quickly as I had a left over piece of 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon sitting on my stamping table all ready to go from a previous project.  I also used the piece of burlap I tore off from the ends of the burlap ribbon and turned it into a bow.  How fun! : ) It's a gloomy rain, cold day here...so I had a hard time getting the true colors to show in the picture. RECIPE: STAMPS: Be Merry INK: Whisper White craft PAPER: Season of Style DSP, Baked Brown Sugar, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler ACCESSORIES: Chalk Talk Framelits, White embossing powder, 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Adoring Accents embossing folder, Old Olive Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones and Dimensionals. Thanks for stopping by! : )

Christmas slider card

Here is another project made by my club ladies.  It is a slide out card that you can use as a gift card as well.  Lots of fun goodies used to make this.  First we used the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper for our color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze and Gumball Green.  We stamped the ornament in Gumball Green onto Gumball Green card stock and die cut it.  We paper pieced it using the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and added a Silver Glimmer and Baja Breeze snowflake from the Snow Flurry Die (a must have).  This was topped off with a star (retired punch) and a Glimmer brad.  The Greetings of the Season phrase was stamped in  Cherry Cobbler and then Die cut out using the Apothecary Accent Framelits dies, and these were also pierced with the Essentials Paper-Piercing pack.  You pull the card out to the left and another ornament awaits you.  Although this pictures does not show it, a gift card or cash can be place...

Another Christmas share...

Time is a tickin....how are your Christmas cards coming along?  Honestly, I haven't had much time to work on mine.  Sickness, shopping, working.....getting the decorations up.  My goal for this weekend is to get the rest of my decorations up and and atleast 20 more cards completed.  All this in between a home hockey tournament...wish me luck!   I love the Greetings of the Season stamp set.  The Merry Christmas is so beautiful.  Of course, the Sentsational Season stamp set is a must have for all!! : ) Have a wonderful weekend! See you next week!  Happy stamping and Merry Christmas!!!  Annette

A very Merry Christmas

Is there really only 29 days till Christmas?  Oh, my goodness!! November seems to be going in a blink of an eye. I do hope it slows down (just a little bit) in December so that we can enjoy Christmas longer. : ) BTW:  I received my copy of this years Sale-a-bration booklet and the Spring Mini catalog! Woo-who! So much fun for all to have!  BUT:  we most focus on getting those Christmas cards done...so here's  another Christmas share for you:  A simple, and well known layout using the beloved Framed Tulips Embossing folder .  It is difficult to see in this photo, but I embossed the ornament in Clear Embossing powder to give it a shiny texture and finished it up by adding two Cherry Cobbler flowers from my Boho Blossoms punch.  The ornament is accented with Basic Pearls. The ornament is centered on a Early Espresso Window Frame that was embossed using the Holiday Frame Embossing folder.   Designer paper is from the Festival of Prints DS ...

Christmas count down share...

Here is another Christmas card share I made using the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies and the matching Ornament Keepsakes stamp set. Lots of fun goodies used to make this one.  I embossed the ornament and "Merry  Christmas" saying in Early Espresso.  I also embossed the center 3/4" circle and 1 1/4" scallop circle image from the Mixed Melody hostess set using Versa Mark and Clear embossing powder.  The ornament was then matted onto an Early Espresso piece of card stock that was cut out using the Labels Collection Framelits which I then paper-pierced using the ornament  template from the Festive paper-piercing pack.  Behind this, I cut a bigger Label framelit and embossed it with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.   Again, I used the Festive paper-piercing pack to add paper-piercings around the edges of that.  The ornament was then accented with Early Espresso ribbon and Tulle Ribbon and a basic pearl. Colors:  Very Vanilla, Real Rea...

Christmas count down share

This Christmas card was a Make and Take for my Hostess Club ladies.  They got to "make snow" by tearing Very Vanilla card stock and then painting Champagne Mist shimmer paint onto the torn edges as well as painting the polka dots on the tree to give it a nice shimmer.  We also used the Candlelight Christmas Designer fabric in place of ribbon along the bottom of the card. Of course every Christmas tree needs a festive star on top... and the Champagne Glimmer paper star compliments the Champagne Frost snow just perfectly!!! : ) Recipe: Stamps: Scentsational Season and Greetings of the Season Paper: Early Espresso, Real Red, Very Vanilla and Candlelight Christmas Specialty DS paper; Ink: Old Olive, Versa Mark Accessories: Champagne Frost paint, Champagne Glimmer paper, Petals a Plenty emb. folder, Holiday Collection framelits, border punch (retired) and Very Vanilla embossing powder (retired). Thanks, and have a great day!

Christmas count down

Everyone is sharing Christmas cards and/or projects for the 12 week countdown to Christmas and I thought I would add some projects as well.  How many weeks till Christmas???  About 10 weeks? Okay, so here is Christmas Countdown share number 10:  I actually made this card a long while back over Labor Day weekend while at our cabin.  I had limited supplies that I brought up and added the ribbon and brad after we were home.  In person it is very sparkly.  I used my Versa Mark pad and rubbed it onto the raised surface of the Very Vanilla card stock - which was embossed using the Holiday Frame folder.  I then applied Heat and Stick followed by Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Lastly, I outlined the ornament image with Dazzling Details glitter.  The Window Frames Famelits Die was paper pierced using the Festive template which you can get for FREE when you take advantage of the October special as listed on top right hand side of my blog.  A very fun...

Cabin Fever

I got the chills, they're multiplying...and I made... lots of these.  They are gift card holders... and they went flying...cause my friends...they really liked 'em...and now I'm down to just this one.... I made a bunch of these adorable Stocking Gift cards about 18 in total.  If you didn't get this Die from the Holiday Mini....you might just want to rethink it.  It makes very fun and very cool gift card holders. :)  Annette

Merry Christmas Lodge

Okay, as you can see I haven't posted a single project in what feels like forever!  I just finished making 85 handmade Christmas cards and they are all out the door! Ya-who! It took longer than I had hoped but with both my boys in hockey and me being team manager for one of them...well, you get the picture. : )  Here is a very simple card I made using left over pieces from the awesome Christmas Lodge stamp set.   Enjoy and have a great weekend.  Don't forget to check out the clearance rack on my Stampin' UP! web site.  There are some really good deals going on!  Annette

Stocking Gift Card Holder

I love, love the Holiday Stocking Big Shot Die . Glimmering Ornaments

Here is another card I made using the CHRISTMAS LODGE stamp set. I love the Red and Silver Glimmer paper (page 41 of the mini catalog).  I have been having a lot of fun with it.  Tomorrow I will share a note book I decorated and gave to my loyal stamping gals this week as part of their Christmas present from me.  I used lots of glimmer paper on it! :)  See you tomorrow!  Annette

Vintage Christmas Card

Here is another card I came up with using the CHRISTMAS LODGE stamp set.  I love the vintage feel of it especially with the VERY VANILLA VELVET RIBBON (pg. 22 of mini).  I think it looks warm and inviting.  Bring on Christmas!!! : )   RECIPE: STAMPS: Christmas Lodge and Christmas Collage stamp sets PAPER: Early  Espresso, Crumb Cake and Letters to Santa Designer Series (pg. 186 catty) ACCESSORIES: Early Espresso, Old Olive and White craft ink, Snow Burst Emb. folder, Silver Glimmer paper, Very Vanilla Velvet ribbon, Silver Glimmer Brad, Cupcake punch (ornaments on tree) and  sponge daubers. Thanks for stopping by!  Happy stamping and Happy Friday!!! Annette

Merry Christmas Lodge

Here is another card creation using the Christmas Lodge stamp set.  I stamped the tree in Early Espresso and used my sponge dauber to add Garden Green ink.  I then punch some 1/4" circles out using my Red Glimmer paper and added them to the tree.  ( I used my Cupcake Builder punch for the circles).  Then I ran my tree thru my Big Shot using my Square Lattice folder.  Easy, peasy.  Just enough "bling" on this to easily mass produce. : ) RECIPE: STAMPS: Christmas Lodge   PAPER: Frostwood Lodge designer series, Red Glimmer, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card stock. ACCESSORIES: Square Lattice, Petals-a-Plenty Emb. Folders, Eyelet Border Punch, Cupcake Builder punch, Early Espresso Taffeta ribbon and Dimensionals.
