Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am showing you Project #3 of my creations using the Beauty Abounds Bundle. Again, this card was created using the "left over" Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet that was not used when I die cut out the butterfly images for use in Project #1.    For fun, I ran the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet thru the Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This time, I adhered a piece of Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala DSP to the back of the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet before adhering it to a Daffodil Delight card base. I also used the "thinner/outline" die cut butterfly image instead of the "thicker/bottom" die cut butterfly image as was used in Project #1. Hello, and happy Tuesday crafty friends. Today, I am sharing Project #2 using the   Beauty Abounds   bundle.  For this project, I used the butterfly cluster die cut image I had left over from Project #1. Isn't this gorgeous?  I just love how it turned out! I had not idea what I was going to do with the "left over" die cut butterflies I had from Project #1, but I do know that what I love most about crafting is not knowing what you are going to create and then ending up making something you love. :) This card is basically the same "technique" as project 1, in that I die cut out the large butterfly image out of a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and adhered a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock behind it.  Next, I placed the left over DSP die cut butterflies from Project #1 into the "negative" area of the Cajun Craze cardstock.  The only difference is that I then added a Whisper White die cut layer of butterflies to the top of the DSP butterflies. ...

Hello, and happy Sunday! Today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps!   We have a fun color challenge for you to play along with and here's what I made using the Varied Vases stamp set along with the new 2nd Release Sale-a-bration Country Floral  Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder is so awesome and I couldn't resist using it for the Sunday Stamps! challenge. To create the background,  I sponged So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo and Bermuda Bay inks directly onto the embossing folder before running a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock thru my Big Shot. Over the next several posts, I will be sharing some projects I made using the Beauty Abounds Bundle .  I love this bundle and I can't wait to share all the different projects I made with it so far.  Today, I am sharing another one of the projects my stamp club ladies made last week using this bundle. I will call this Project #1: For this project, I die cut the large butterfly cluster image out of a piece of Nature's Poem DSP .  After it was die cut out, I was left me with a detailed die cut butterfly image and the negative cut-out from the DSP.  This card is the result of the negative cut-out image in the DSP.
