In The Pines

I had to make one more crafty creation using the new and upcoming IN  THE PINES bundle before I put it away.  I had a few of leftover items sitting on my stamp table so I turned them into a purple Christmas card. To be more specific, I had the thin Highland Heather frame created using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and a 4" x 5 1/4" Purple Posy piece embossed with the Old World Map 3D Embossing Folder which became my picture frame for my Purple Posy Christmas tree. To create my tree, I embossed the outline image in Silver and then went back and colored it with my Purple Posy Stampin' Blends.  Easy and quick.  I used the die in the bundle to create my snow drift and added the beautiful WINTER SNOW EMBOSSING FOLDER as my final layer. I love the detail in this embossing folder! After adhering all my layers, I added a piece of the matching SNOWFLAKE SPLENDOR RIBBON (page 37 of the 2020 Mini Catalog) and a few snowflake sequins from the SNOWFLAKE ADHESIVE-BACKED EMBELLISHMEN...

Sneak Peek for Sunday Stamps! #236

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a sneak peek at a new bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog called In the Pines which can be found on page 43. For my pre-order, I kept gravitating back to this bundle, and I am happy to report that it does not disappoint.  I love that there are three different sizes of trees in the stamp set so that you can create a completely different scene for your crafty creations.   This is a Two-Step Photopolymer stamp set that can be used for much more than just Christmas.  We have lots of Pine trees like this at our cabin, and at our church - which is called Shepherd of the Pines. Because it is only July, I couldn't force myself to dive right into my new 2020 Mini Catalog Christmas DSP, so I cheated and used the Flowers for Every Season DSP and paired it with a wood grain piece of DSP from the In Good Taste DSP.   Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! by Heidi: To play along, follow these simple Challenge Guidelines: Feel ...

Jar of Flowers

Hello, crafty friends. It's been a busy week, but I finally found some time to create and I'm feeling much better now! lol  Here's a flowery creation using products from the Flowers for Every Season Suite . If you like to color and love flowers like I do, you will love this suite. I colored my floral arrangement with Misty Moonlight, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.  I think these colors look great together, what do you think? I love the Greenery Embossing Folders, and especially this particular one that I used with a piece of Just Jade cardstock. Did you notice that the flowers are sitting in a jar of water? The Jar of Flowers stamp set is a Reversibles stamp set and I flipped the small jar image over and stamped the solid side into the large jar image using Pool Party ink.  So cool, right?  July Host Code: RV6JDAUN Place a $50 order (before shipping/tax) using my host code during the month of JULY, and receive the  Elegant Fac...
