Joy to the World demensions

Hello, crafty friends. I have been enjoying family time- but wanted to give the dimensions to the Joy to the World side Z fold card I made in my previous post as requested by a fellow stamper: Thanks for the sweet comment, Rebecca. :) Happy stamping!

Glimmer Reindeer

Hello, crafty friends.  I have a quick post to share with you today.  It's a "flat" shaker card, in that, I used glue instead of dimensionals to adhere the vellum circle piece filled with sequins to the main panel.  This way I can still mail it without it requiring extra postage.  I sent a few of these out this year. I used some retired products, but still wanted to share it with you. :)  Doesn't the reindeer from the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Die set looks fabulous in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.   Don't forget that all orders of at least $40 (before shipping/tax)  using the December Host Code:  ED2DMVRL will receive a set of  Project Life Journaling Pens  as my thank you gift.  See my online rewards page for more information. Plus, register for my  December Grab Bag Give Away   HERE   as my way of saying  Merry Christmas to you-  my customers and stamping friends! Thank...

A tasty truck for Sunday Stamps #142

Hello, crafty friends we are only 1 short week away from Christmas!  Are you ready? HA!  I still have plenty to do, but I'm grateful to have all my kiddos home for Christmas break. Speaking of breaks, the new Occasions catalog and Sale-a-bration (SAB) catalog is fast approaching, so I decided to take a break from last minute Christmas creations to play with the new Tasty Trucks SAB stamp set I earned for FREE with my Occasions catalog preorder. This follows the new sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps: I used some Melon Mambo DSP from the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper , and some Crushed Curry DSP from the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper as my color pallet for this card. Joyful Christmas

Hello, crafty friends.  It's a joyful Christmas when you receive a handmade card in the mail. :)   Today, I wanted to share an awesome card I received from my dear friend, Janet- who loves to stamp as much as I do. I just love her card!  You may not be able to see in the photo, but she added a little bit of red glitter to the doodles on each side, and then carefully outlined the word "joyful" with Clear Wink of Stella.  And if you add washi tape and sequins...count it as trendy and fabulous! Great card using the   Wonderful Cheer  stamp set, Janet!   Thanks for stopping by today!  Happy Friday, and happy stamping! Don't forget that all orders of at least $40 (before shipping/tax)  using the December Host Code:  ED2DMVRL will receive a set of  Project Life Journaling Pens  as my thank you gift.  See my online rewards page for more information. Plaid Trees

Hello, crafty friends. I hope you are ahead of the game and have finished making and sending your beautiful handmade Christmas cards this year.  I bought the Warmth & Cheer Designer Washi tape from the End of the Year sale and put it too good use on some of my Christmas cards this year.  I made about 12 of these using all of the garden green sheets of DSP I had from the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack. Does this card look familar in any way???  Well, its a CASE of my Merry Christmouse card HERE . Why stress out and reinvent the wheel if the wheel isn't broken- or in this case if the card layout is good- right?  Super fun and easy to reproduce.:) I've been having a lot of fun with washi tape on my Christmas cards this year! Crafty Creation Supplies: STAMPS: Star of Light (142110) INK: Versamark PAPER: Garden Green, Whisper White ACCESSORIES : Cable Knit Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Ovals Framelits, Perfe...

The light the shepherds saw that night...

Today, I'm sharing another card I made using the same technique (and colors) as my preview post HERE .  However, this time I used Crumb Cake for my main panel and only added embossed stars around the edges of the Crumb Cake cardstock to highlight the white die cut star I added to the center. I made this card for Sunday Stamps! challenge #141 as well, but ended up posting the "Northern Lights" card for this weeks challenge.   So, this is my 2nd card for the challenge. :)  I absolutely love the sentiments and the font in this set.  It's actually one of the main reasons why I purchased the set.  The beautiful starlight Thinlits is a bonus.  STAMPING SUPPLIES: STAMPS: Star of Light  Bundle (143508) INK: Garden Green, Peakaboo Peach, Cherry Cobbler, and Versamark PAPER:  Whisper White, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Vellum Cardstock. ACCESSORIES :  Starlight Thinlits Die Bundle (143508), White embossing po...

Northern Lights for Sunday Stamps!

Hello, crafty friends!  We have a festive color challenge for you to play along with at Sunday Stamps! this week. Such a fun picture! I love those little reindeer and of course that gingerbread man. So cute!  Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice to play along.  Here's what I made using Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Suede and Real Red: To create the background, I stamped the star images from the Star of Light stamp set randomly onto a 3 7/8" by 5 1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock using Versamark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder.  To create the "northern lights" effect, I sponged in all the different ink colors randomly using sponge daubers.  When I was finished adding ink, I used a paper towel to wipe the excess ink off  the embossed stars. Stamping Supplies: Stamps: Santa's Sleigh Bundle (143499), Star of Light (142110) Paper: Whisper White, Peekaboo Peach, Garden Green, Pear...
