Rococo Rose

Hello, crafty friends.  We made it through another week. Happy Friday! Today, I am sharing a quick and easy creation with you using the Bouquet Corner stamp set with the Oh So Ombre DSP . Both are FREE items from Sale-a-bration. For a softer look, I decided to stamp my floral image in Smoky Slate ink and pair it with the Rococo Rose patterned piece of Oh So Ombre DSP. Take a close look at my stamped image. Can you see that I made my floral image a little bigger? I added one small leaf image from the stamp set to the top and to the side of the small bouquet. Sneaky aren't I? lol And while I was at it, I decided to add some die cut flowers using the Rococo Rose Foil Sheets from the Love You Always Suite and finish them off with some white Basic Pearl Jewels . The "think of you" sentiment is another Sale-a-bration item you can earn for FREE called A Touch of Ink.   Remember: Sale-a-bration ends on February 28th this year! And as we wind down the month, there are only a few...

Flower and Field DSP

Hello, crafty friends. It may be winter here in Minnesota, but that can't stop me from being in a field of flowers, or should I say making a creation using the Flower and Field DSP from Sale-a-bration. lol What a bright and cheery card you can make to send to someone special using the Flower and Filed DSP that you can earn for FREE only during Sale-a-bration.  I chose the first design shown on the upper righthand side and paired it with daisy flowers dressed in Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.   I paired my Daisy Punch flowers with "leaves" using the Perennial Flower punch  and added a flower die cut border to my white cardstock layer using the Ornate Borders Dies. Just think of all the other color combinations you can make with this layout and the Flower and Field DSP!  Did you know that February's Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Kit Bouquet of Hope contains coordinating colors from the Flower and Field DSP ?  What a great time to add...

Sunday Stamps! #249

Hello, and happy Sunday crafty friends! It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Fancy Phrases stamp set from the annual catalog. I was attracted to this stamp set not just because of the floral images, but for the beautiful sentiments it has.  And with today's new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!, it was the perfect opportunity to create a project with it. And what better way to use the Fancy Phrases stamp set then to pair it with the new Flower and Fields DSP from Sale-a-bration! Coloring  the flowers was easy peasy because of the sketch type imagery of the stamps. Coloring can be done quickly and still look fabulous~ which in my book is a plus. lol Here's this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! To play along, simply follow the  Sunday Stamps!   challenge guidelines below: Use any brand of products you have; Link your new project you created for this challenge (no backlinks) to the Sunday Stamps! blog; P...
