Rococo Rose

Hello, crafty friends.  We made it through another week. Happy Friday! Today, I am sharing a quick and easy creation with you using the Bouquet Corner stamp set with the Oh So Ombre DSP. Both are FREE items from Sale-a-bration.

For a softer look, I decided to stamp my floral image in Smoky Slate ink and pair it with the Rococo Rose patterned piece of Oh So Ombre DSP.

Take a close look at my stamped image. Can you see that I made my floral image a little bigger? I added one small leaf image from the stamp set to the top and to the side of the small bouquet. Sneaky aren't I? lol

And while I was at it, I decided to add some die cut flowers using the Rococo Rose Foil Sheets from the Love You Always Suite and finish them off with some white Basic Pearl Jewels.

The "think of you" sentiment is another Sale-a-bration item you can earn for FREE called A Touch of Ink.  Remember: Sale-a-bration ends on February 28th this year!

And as we wind down the month, there are only a few days left to earn my Always in My Heart PDF Card Class containing 9 projects with a private link video showing you tips for each project for FREE when you purchase the Always in My Heart Bundle .This bundle is perfect for not only Valentines Day, but also Wedding, Anniversary and even birthday! Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
