Happy Sunday, stampers. Today, I have a festive birthday card to share with you following the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! . I made a fun shaker card using the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set along with the Gold Glitter Flakes and Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper .  Here's the new challenge at  Sunday Stamps! As you can see we have some fun colors to work with and especially for the upcoming Valentines Day celebration. However, I have been making a lot of Valentine projects this past month, so I decided to go in a different direction with the gorgeous Painted with Love Specialty DSP. I am loving the look of the Picture Perfect stamp set embossed in gold to match the DSP! Today, I am sharing the 3rd project we made at my Stampin' Blends #2 class.  This was the last card we made and  it incorporates all the "blending" skills we focused on. Although the Garden in Bloom stamp set is a two step stamp set,  the outline image of the flower by itself is perfect for practicing blending multiple colors together.  Stampin' Blend colors are: Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate and a splash of Calypso Coral for the flower centers.       Garden In Bloom Stampin' Blends are super fun and easy to use, and I hope you take the time practice with them. My card share for today uses the eclipse technique to create a fun and dimensional birthday card. Does my card look familiar? When I was working with the Brusho Crystal Colour for my last post for Sunday Stamps! , I ended up not liking where I stamped the sunburst ray image from the Amazing You Sale-a-bration stamp set.  It was a little to low for placement of the sentiment.  So, I set it a side until today. With the same look and colors, I can make a gift set using this set, right? tee-hee.   Again, I just have to say how much I love that each of the images has its own framelit (insert heart).  I don't mind fussy cutting some things...but, heck after making a gazillion Christmas cards, it's nice to start the new year with a zip  thru Mr. Big Shot. :) I borrowed the Party Panda's birthday hat to make this fire breathing Happy Birthday wish, and added some sparkle with the striped Myths & Magic Specialty Washi Tape . I have a fun card to share with you today following the new sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps! I used a few new items from the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs.  I had so much fun creating this.  It was an art class day for me! :) Aren't those wizards from the Magical Day Bundle so fun?  I love how they look like they are really creating "magic".  I decided to also try out the new Brusho Crystal Colour .  I did not put a lot of effort (or time) in using it.  I just sprayed water onto a piece of watercolor paper and shook some of the Brusho Crystals onto it, then sprayed water on to it again.  I was impatient - so I grabbed my heat tool to dry it- and ta-dah: a cool looking background for my wizards magic spell! When the new Stampin' Blends came out, I was excited to see a kit made especially for them.  The Color My Happy stamp set and coordinating card kit is a fabulous way to practice your coloring skills.  In one of my past newsletters, I showed the completed cards I made using the kit, and today I am sharing another card I made using just the Color My Happy stamp set itself. Hello, crafty friends.  Today, I am sharing one of the cards we made at my Stampin' Blends class last Friday.  It is made with the new Birthday Wishes for You stamp set. We focused on four Stampin' Blends colors to work with for the entire class projects.  This was our first project.  We focused on coloring the balloons with the light and dark colors and then adding the center highlights using  the Color Lifter and also making a highlight without the Color Lifter.
