Rustic Crate for Sunday Stamps!

Hello, and happy Sunday to my crafty friends! Today, I am excited to share a creation using a new stamp set from the upcoming September - January 2025 Mini Catalog called Rustic Crate.    Oh my gosh do I love this set! It contains 3 different images to put in your crate: spring/summer, fall and Christmas. Yah! And it makes 2 kinds of wood creates.  One is a stamped and die cut crate (as I have done) here; and the other is a "3D crate box" complete with woodgrain textured embossing!  It is so DANG cute and I can't wait to make some fall creations with this set. :) However, since its still summer out and my garden is at its peak, I decided to make a card using the foliage stamp. I stamped 3 sets of the foliage using Memento Black ink and then colored them with Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat Stampin' Blends before die cutting them out. I then cut two of foliage clusters in half and used them separately to "fill" in the background area of my crate.  ...

Earthen Textures

Happy Monday crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a thank you card I made using the Earthen Textures Bundle. This is such a fun bundle and so very easy to work with! The possibilities and color variations are endless. In reality, you don't even have to stamp anything to create some beautiful vases using the products in the Earthen Elegance Suite. For this card, I die cut 2 vases using the 12" x 12" Earthen Elegancy DSP focusing on the color Pecan Pie. Next, I added some die cut layers to my vases using Very Vanilla and Pecan Pie cardstock.  I had some leftover flower centers (and in the right color) from the Textured Florals Bundle sitting on my desk in the right color and decided to add them as a floral arrangement to my smaller vase. Notice my embossed layer behind the vases? I used the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder  which is a new product you will find in the Holiday Catalog. Yah! Isn't it so pretty and look how well it works with the Earthen Textures Bund...

Sunday Stamps! #315

Hello crafty friends! It's Sunday and that means that we have a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! for you to play along with.  This weeks new challenge is perfect for creating those last minute summer birthday, thinking of you or thank you cards as we face the dog days of summer. :)  Here's what I made using several different stamp sets and dies. I love the Oceanfront stamp set and haven't used it yet this summer (:0) in any of my summer creations, so that is where I started.  Knowing the colors in the challenge, I stamped the sky using Lemon Lolly ink, the water using Tahitian Tide and stamped the ground using Crumb Cake ink as my neutral color. Next, I die cut several greenery pieces from the Textured Floral Dies using Lost Lagoon and Shaded Spruce cardstock. I then added Crumb Cake stamped rocks and a Calypso Coral stamped star from the Sea Turtle stamp set.   My sentiment is from the Circle Sayings stamp set and I added a few birds from the Waves of Inspiration st...
