Flower and Field DSP

Hello, crafty friends. It may be winter here in Minnesota, but that can't stop me from being in a field of flowers, or should I say making a creation using the Flower and Field DSP from Sale-a-bration. lol

What a bright and cheery card you can make to send to someone special using the Flower and Filed DSP that you can earn for FREE only during Sale-a-bration.

I chose the first design shown on the upper righthand side and paired it with daisy flowers dressed in Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.
I paired my Daisy Punch flowers with "leaves" using the Perennial Flower punch and added a flower die cut border to my white cardstock layer using the Ornate Borders Dies.

Just think of all the other color combinations you can make with this layout and the Flower and Field DSP!

Did you know that February's Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Kit Bouquet of Hope contains coordinating colors from the Flower and Field DSP
What a great time to add a prepaid 1 month or 3 month subscription to your online order and earn the Flower and Field DSP for FREE!  Plus you will earn PERKS when you shop with me!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
