Bubble Over for #SSC173

Hello, and happy Sunday! Today, starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!.  We are working with a color challenge and here's what I made using the Bubble Over Bundle.

Here's the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!:

Lemon Lime Twist made me think of Mountain Dew or 7-UP using the Bubble Over Bundle.  And I will have to admit that I got carried away with those fun bubbles!  I couldn't stop making them! ha-ha!

I used the "ink smooshing" technique to create my water colored background.  It involves pressing your ink pad to the silicon craft sheet and spritzing water on it.  Next, lay your cardstock on it and "smoosh" the ink on it.  That's it! Very easy!

Project Supplies:
  • Bubble Over Bundle,  Hardwood background
  • Thick Whisper White, Whisper White and Basic Gray cardstock
  • Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist ink
  • Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper, Silver Foil Sheets, Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon, Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Silicon Craft Sheet.

This is a fun color challenge, and we would love for you to give it a try! Entries need to be submitted for Sunday Stamps! challenge #173 by Friday, March 9, 2018.

Happy Stamping!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
