Happy Sunday! Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :) I am going to a grandma for the first time and can I just say that I am really is exciting!
I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! The Impressions a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set. Here's my 2nd go.
Soft pastel colors? Count me in! And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom. For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp.Next, I die cut an oval out of a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of the coordinating Floral Impressions 12" x 12" DSP, and added a Basic White layer behind it that was dry embossed with a retired embossing folder.
In following this weeks color challenge, I went through my stash of cardstock and found some beloved Mint Melody to use for my flower stems and leaves. Does anyone remember that color?! Its been around like FOREVER, and yes, I still have it. :0 Note: Over the years, my kids were allowed to hunt and use any cardstock in my retired section of my filing cabinet for their school and/or personal use. Double note: I did insist on a hand made card for my birthday using this stash. :) The flower centers were stamped in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry ink and I added some cute little die cut flowers using Crushed Curry cardstock. Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

Of course I had to add Dimensionals for my flower petals and also for my sentiment.
This is a great bundle, and I can't wait to create more floral cards - after I finish making a million Winnie the Pooh decorations. :)
