Merriest Moments

Hello, crafty friends. I am happy to announce that I am finally finished with all of my Christmas crafting for 2021. Yah! However, today I decided to make one more creation using a set I recently purchased called The Merriest Moments Bundle.  This is a hybrid bundle (which is new to me) and can be found on page 43 of the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.

I have seen so many cute creations with this set that it somehow ended up in my shopping cart. Can you relate? lol  And I must say that I had no idea how cool the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder really was. Oh my goodness! It's 100 times easier then my brain comprehended.  lol

To try it out, I used a scrap piece of white cardstock and embossed and die cut the floral arrangement using the hybrid embossing folder and dies and then just sat back and admired it. :)  Finally after I was done drooling on it, I decided that there was so much detail in my die cut and embossed piece of white cardstock that I would just start creating with it.

I also had a leftover deer from the Peaceful Deer Bundle sitting on my stamping table and it somehow found a home on my Merriest Moments card.

I paired my die cut and embossed white panel with a plaid piece of Peaceful Prints 12" x 12" DSP  which was a FREE Sale-a-bration item from the August-September 2021 Sale-a-bration promotion.

Next, I stamped some elements from the Merriest Moments stamp set itself using Evening Evergreen as my contrast color and added some Real Red die cut berries as well.

Lastly, and to finish off my card, I added some Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon and a few Gilded Gems.
I just love this and am happy it found its way into my shopping card. :)

The Merriest Moments stamp set and the Merriest Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder are both carrying over but will not be available for purchase after January 4, 2002, until the release of the July - December 2022 Mini Catalog. Don't miss out on this super cool bundle from the Last Chance Products list!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
