Dainty Delight

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a creation made using the Dainty Delight Bundle (item 160675) along with the coordinating Dainty Flowers DSP (item 160834) from Sale-a-bration. To start my first creation with these new goodies, I first examined all of the different patterns in the Dainty Flowers DSP pack and choose the premade oval wreath of flowers and leaves DSP piece. Because there are 6 premade oval wreaths on each of the DSP pieces you are ready to create and embellish a total of 12 card fronts. How cool is that? To start my card, I  first cut one entire sheet of the wreath patterned piece into six sections. Next, I decided to add a little stitching around the edges of it and die cut one of the wreaths using the Stitched Rectangle dies.  Next, I went through all the colors in the paper and die cut a bunch of different colored flowers using the coordinating dies. After I was happy with the location, colors and amount of die cut flowers I added around my c...

Sunday Stamps#300!

It's hard to believe we are celebrating our 300th challenge at Sunday Stamps! Wow! We are so appreciative of you continuing to playing along with us! For our 300th celebration, we are combining a sketch challenge with the theme of "celebration". Unfortunately for me, I had already made my card and uploaded it before the "celebration" theme was added and did not have time to change it before the link was posted.  As a result, instead of modifying my card.....I made two to share with you. :) Card No. 1: While I still had the Country Floral Lane Suite fresh on my mind, I decided to pair the hearts from the Country Bouquet Punch with the Favored Flowers 12" x 12" DSP from Sale-a-bration. As you know, I love the color purple for crafting so I instinctively gravitated towards the Fresh Freesia and patterned designs of this gorgeous paper. The paper does all the talking and I just added some additional die cut elements. Card No. 2: For my second creation,...

Thanks a Bunch for SAB

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I have a fun card to share with you using the Thanks a Bunch stamp set that you can choose as a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. The Thanks a  Bunch stamp set is a photopolymer stamp set containing 19 images with lots of great sentiments that can be used for just about any occasion you have in mind. In addition, it contains  several Two-Step stamping of the carrots and leaf images. I love the realistic look of the carrots.  To create my card, I used one of my favorite accessory items from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog  to die cut the sentiment. It is the Stylish Shaped Dies. I found this die set to work well with many of the stamp sets offered by Stampin' UP! and especially sentiments. Another great product that is overlooked (and not used enough by me) is the Knit Together background stamp set.  Since I live in Minnesota the warm fuzzy feel it creates makes me feel like I am at home. :) January Shopping Rewards: Place a $...
