Thanks a Bunch for SAB

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I have a fun card to share with you using the Thanks a Bunch stamp set that you can choose as a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration Brochure.

The Thanks a  Bunch stamp set is a photopolymer stamp set containing 19 images with lots of great sentiments that can be used for just about any occasion you have in mind.

In addition, it contains  several Two-Step stamping of the carrots and leaf images. I love the realistic look of the carrots.

To create my card, I used one of my favorite accessory items from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog  to die cut the sentiment. It is the Stylish Shaped Dies. I found this die set to work well with many of the stamp sets offered by Stampin' UP! and especially sentiments.

Another great product that is overlooked (and not used enough by me) is the Knit Together background stamp set.  Since I live in Minnesota the warm fuzzy feel it creates makes me feel like I am at home. :)

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
