Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a creation made using the Dainty Delight Bundle (item 160675) along with the coordinating Dainty Flowers DSP (item 160834) from Sale-a-bration.
To start my first creation with these new goodies, I first examined all of the different patterns in the Dainty Flowers DSP pack and choose the premade oval wreath of flowers and leaves DSP piece. Because there are 6 premade oval wreaths on each of the DSP pieces you are ready to create and embellish a total of 12 card fronts. How cool is that?
To start my card, I first cut one entire sheet of the wreath patterned piece into six sections. Next, I decided to add a little stitching around the edges of it and die cut one of the wreaths using the Stitched Rectangle dies. Next, I went through all the colors in the paper and die cut a bunch of different colored flowers using the coordinating dies.
After I was happy with the location, colors and amount of die cut flowers I added around my card front, I had the difficult decision as to what colors to choose for my card base since there were so many to choose from. Finally, I decided on a Rich Razzleberry die cut layer followed by a Blushing Bride card base.
To make everything blend together and to give it a vintage look, I blended Blushing Bride ink around the DSP piece using the Blending Brushes and teared the edges along the way. So fun. :)
Lastly, I added a sentiment from the Beautifully Happy Sale-a-bration stamp set (item 160804) and a few Petal Pink Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots to finish it off.
I love that you can earn the Dainty Flowers DSP for FREE as a coordinating product with the purchase of the Dainty Delight Bundle. Yahoo for Sale-a-bration!

Happy Sunday! Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :) I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! The Impressions a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set. Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in! And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom . For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...
It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo! I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge. For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears . This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous. For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
