A purple Christmas Tree

Happy Sunday! Today I have a beauteous Christmas tree dressed in purple to share with you using -yet again the Frosted Forest Bundle!!  The possibilities are endless with this awesome set and I can't seem to put it down! lol

This card design follows the new sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps! and I used the Autumn Expressions Dies to create a picture frame to highlight my Christmas tree.  I used the masks for the smallest pine tree to add Highland Heather, Petunia Pop and Gorgeous Grape inks with Blending Brushes.  These masks are SO fun!

Did you know that there are several different ways to use the Autumn Expressions Dies to create a  picture frame?  For this frame, I used both of the die cut centers and layered them over the top of each other to create a slight Petunia Pop cardstock outline.

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! created by Heather:

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
