Fragrant Flowers

 Hello, and happy Saturday! Today, I have a crafty creation to share using the Fragrant Flowers Bundle (160460) with the coordinating Favored Flowers 12" x 12" DSP which is a FREE Sale-a-bration item.

Have I mentioned how much I love the color Fresh Freesia?! Fresh Freesia is one of the main colors in the pack of Favored Flowers DSP and is the perfect color for a fresh spring looking card.

The flowers were colored with Fresh Freesia, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blends.

The Favored Flowers DSP layer was die cut with the Split Card Textures Dies and then layered onto a Basic White cardstock layer. I then destressed these layers with my fingers for added depth and dimension.
I didn't add anymore flowers and/or die cuts as I wanted the Split Card Textures die cut DSP do all the talking.
 
Lastly, I added some Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and Opaque Adhesive Backed Gems to finish it off.  This card just makes me happy (insert smile here).  Don't miss out on the Fragrant Flowers Bundle!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
