Adorable Owls for Sale-a-bration

 Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a Valentine card to share with you using the Adorable Owls Cling stamp set that is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration products you can receive with your $50 order.  But don't delay! Sale-a-bration ends on February 28, 2023, and is only while supplies last!

As my nieces and nephews are getting older I am making more money/gift cards to send out to them.  This year's Valentines Day celebration is no exception. 

I tend to make cards with different folds and sizes for Valentines, Easter and Halloween creations. It's fun to change it up a bit from the standard A2 size. Don't you agree?
This adorable Owl is paired with products from the Country Floral Lane Suite: the Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" DSP, the Real Red 1/4" Ribbon, the Pastel Adhesive Gems and the heart is from the Country Bouquet Bundle itself.


I used Crumb Cake, Pale Papaya, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends to color the owl and then hand cut him out.  He is layered onto a Stylish Shapes die cut circle and a Real Red Layering Circles die cut scallop circle. 

On the inside there is a pocket to hold money and I continued the theme with the Country Floral Lane DSP and additional stamped and punched out hearts to finish it off.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
