Sunday Stamps! #297

 Hello, crafty friends. I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with family and friends. I was blessed to have my children home and the weather was beautiful.

Today starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's a Christmas creation I made using the Merriest Moments stamp set and the coordinating Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder.

This is another fun hybrid set that you can emboss and die cut differently to achieve different looks.

I love the festive frame that it creates.  You can put any of the Merriest Moments sentiment in the center of it and you will have a wow creation.

My color choices follows this weeks new challenge which is perfect for all of your Christmas creations.

To play along, simply follow the Sunday Stamps! challenge guidelines below:
  • Use any brand of products you have;
  • Link your new project you created for this challenge (no backlinks) to the Sunday Stamps! blog;
  • The colors from the challenge must be the primary colors on your project. Please do not combine our colors with other color challenges.
  • Provide a link to the Sunday Stamps! website and/or the challenge picture in your post;
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to four other challenges; and most of all-
  • Have fun creating with us!
This weeks challenge will end on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 6:00 pm EST.

I used Real Red, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Basic White for my color theme.
I paired my poinsettia flower with a piece of Evergreen DSP that is filled with festive gold stars. This is from the beautiful Lights Aglow 6" x 6" Specialty DSP pack.

One of my favorite ways to show off die cut elements is to stamp the same color ink onto the same color cardstock.  It makes the die cut elements really pop and that is what I did here.

The Merriest Moments stamp set and coordinating Merriest Frames Hybrid Emboss Folder makes for a beautiful Christmas presentation and is a great addition to any Christmas crafting.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
