Sunday Stamps #291

 Hello, and Happy Labor Day weekend to my crafty friends! I hope you are having a relaxing weekend wherever you may be. They are forecasting some beautiful weather for our weekend here in Minnesota. Yah!

Today starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Hello Harvest Bundle from the June - December 2022 Mini Catalog.

How fun are these pumpkins from the coordinating Rustic Pumpkin Dies?  I love me some fall themed projects and all of the colors of fall so this card was super fun to make. :)

My die cut pumpkins were made using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze cardstock with Soft Suede tops and vines.

I also added a few sunflowers and Mossy Meadow stamped leaves.  All these elements follow this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!

To play along with this weeks challenge, simply follow the challenge guidelines below:
  • Use any brand of products you have;
  • Link your new project you created for this challenge (no backlinks) to the Sunday Stamps! blog;
  • The colors from the challenge must be the primary colors on your project. Please do not combine our colors with other color challenges.
  • Provide a link to the Sunday Stamps! website and/or the challenge picture in your post;
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to four other challenges; and most of all-
  • Have fun creating with us!
This weeks challenge will end on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 6:00 pm EST.

To make my pumpkins pop a little more, and to create a more rustic look, I added some Soft Suede ink to the Timber 3D Embossing Folder before running it thru my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Lastly, I sponged some White Craft ink onto my White Embossed sentiment and finally some Rustic Metallic Dots to finish off my card. Have I mentioned how much I love the Rustic Metallic Dots??!
The Hello Harvest Bundle is part of the Rustic Harvest Suite found on pages 48-50 and I can't wait to use all the products in this suite!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
