AESTAMPS A LATTE: Blending Brush Sunset

Hello, and happy Friday crafty friends. It's been a roller coaster of a week for me (after returning from our trip I ended up having a stomach bug) but I am happy to report I am feeling 90% better and was able to sneak a crafty creation in to share with you before the weekend starts. Hello, weekend!

I had no idea what I was going to do, but decided to check out the beautiful trees from the NEW Peaceful Cabin Bundle and see how they looked.

Can I just say they look f a b u l o u s ! !

After stamping 2 sets of trees and coloring them with Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends, I decided to focus of a non winter scene and created a sunset background using the Blending Brushes with the following inks: Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue.

Next, I masked the trees with a Post It Note and blended in Mossy Meadow ink for the grass below my trees.

Finally, I added a fence stamped in Soft Suede ink and colored with a Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend, some Linen Thread and a Clear Rhinestone Jewel.

I will admit that I started going crazy adding Clear Rhinestone Jewels to my project and they stuck to my sky and ripped my beautiful blended sky in some areas so I ended up making a quarter of a moon to cover one of the rips. :0 I'm sure you have seen the moon pop out at the same time the sun was setting, right?!?

This was super easy to make- just don't go crazy like I did with embellishments and then try to take them off. lol

The Peaceful Cabin was the first item on my radar when I saw it in the July - December 2021 Mini Catalog. What a beautiful stamp set and the matching Peaceful Place DSP is to die for! I just can't go there yet as I will be canning vegetables from my garden this weekend. :) I'm sure it will be soon, but for now, snow can wait in my book.
