Hello, stampers. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We visiting our son who is a freshman at college and I am thankful for the beautiful day we had and the fact that he is finally able to be at college. It was so nice to spend some time with him.
For today's post, I am sharing a card I made for one of our elderly neighbors who recently had a stroke. Thankfully, he is doing well now and recently came home.
To make my card more realistic, I should have stamped leaves all over the ground to match the way it really looks like outside but we can pretend it looks like this instead. lolI can't seem to get enough of the In Good Taste DSP, it is so trendy right now and a win win since it is one of the DSP's on sale right now at 15% off!
In looking for the perfect sentiment, I settled on a stamp set from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.
I will have to say that the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim has to be one of my top favorites to use for masculine cards.
I should not point this out, but did you notice that I stamped one of the ground images in Pear Pizzazz ink instead of Mint Macaron ink? Oops! A total mistake- but that's what happens when you have too many ink pads open and scattered around you when stamping. :)
I love Fall, but I do not love all the leaves we have to deal with. Can you relate?
