Sunday Stamps! #242

Welcome back to another challenge at Sunday Stamps!. This week we have a sketch challenge for you  to play along with, and here's what I made using the Poinsettia Petals Bundle.

Although, I love the Poinsettia Place DSP from the Poinsettia Place Suite, I decided to make a traditional red poinsettia Christmas card by pairing the bundle with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. Both these Christmas papers from the 2020 Mini Catalog are on sale until the end of the month.

I have to admit that I have never bought a Poinsettia plant for Christmas.  I can barely remember to water the plants I do have. lol  But- I have to say that I fell in love with this bundle and the many intricate die pieces which I see being used beyond card making.

I love that you can stamp and color the petals, or just die cut them or a combination of both.  The color combinations are endless.  For this creation, I die cut the petals using Real Red cardstock and then went back and stamped onto the petals using Real Red ink in keeping with my traditional poinsettia theme.

My card layout follows our new sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps!
