September Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Hello, stampers. Today, I am sharing an alternative creation I made using some of the elements from the September Paper Pumpkin Kit called Hello Pumpkin.

Each month, I provide my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers a PDF containing at least 4 alternative creations using the supplies in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This card would be considered my sixth alternative idea.

I recently purchased the Arrange a Wreath Bundle and have been having fun creating with it.  Since it was still sitting on my desk, I decided to make a Halloween wreath using some of the elements in the September Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I paired my Basic Black and Smoky  Slate wreath with a piece of In Good Taste DSP that was die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies followed by a layer of W. White and lastly adhered to a Basic Black card base.

I stamped the witches hat image from the PP kit in Memento Black ink and colored it with Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Mango Melody Stampin' Blends before I hand cut it out.
The sentiment is from the kit and was stamped on a banner from the kit.  To finish off my card I added some Iridescent Pearls.  They are very fun and perfect for Halloween.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
