Forever Fern for Sunday Stamps! #237

Hello, crafty friends. Today's crafty creation features the Forever Fern Bundle.
I have seen a lot of fun creations using wreaths lately, and decided to use the idea with the beautiful Forever Fern bundle.
I created my wreath by stamping one of the smaller leaf images in the Forever Fern stamp set a total of seven times using Balmy Blue ink and then die cut them out and arranging them into a beautiful wreath shape. It was super easy to create a wreath since the leaf image is slightly curved. Next, I stamped the floral bulb image using Misty Moonlight ink and then added one large Highland Heather branch, and 3 small Purple Posy branches to create the accents for my wreath.

I chose my colors based on this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

The sentiment is from the Ornate Thanks stamp set and was stamped using Misty Moonlight ink.  I also colored a piece fo 1/4" Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with a Purple Posy Stampin' Blend to match my card and lastly added a few sequins from the Artistry Blooms Sequins assortment.

My layered DSP panel is from the In Good Taste DSP and was die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The splatter image is also from the Forever Fern stamp set and it is a wonderful accent to compliment the other images in the stamp set.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
