Blossoms in Bloom

Hello, crafty friends. It's Sunday and that means its time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the new and beautiful Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.
I am so in love with this bundle!!!  I knew I would like it, but  I honestly did not know I would be drooling over it! lol  There are 2 layers for creating the flowers, but for this card I only used the top/thin layer to place over my stamped flowers. My card creation colors are: Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, and Smoky Slate with a splash of red if you count my heart. :)

I used the Stamparatus to create my two toned flowers. First I inked the large flower image using Balmy Blue ink. Next, I sponged in Misty Moonlight ink using a Sponge Dauber into the centers of the flowers and stamped again. I love the Stamparatus.

And as you can see, I used the Ornate Layers Dies again. What a beautiful border frame it makes around the flowers! I can't seem to get enough of this die! 
After I was finished stamping my flowers, I embossed my completed layer using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
