Stampin' UP! Mosaic Mood

Hello, crafty friends.  Today, I have a fun card to share with you.  It showcases the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper.  This paper is so pretty!  One side of each of the different patterns is glossy and makes it look like the images are embossed. 

Bright summery colors which highlight a new In Color: Terracotta Tile.  I hand cut the images and paired it with the Well Written Framelits.



 I created a fun background layer for my flowers and hummingbird by stamping So Saffron ink onto So Saffron cardstock using the Artisan Textures stamp set followed by embossing it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
Adding a Very Vanilla cardstock frame gives just the right amount of transition back to the focal point.

    Loving the card for today but i especially like yesterdays, it really struck a chord for me. Thanks so much for sharing. Mine didn't turn out as well as yours, but I am very happy with it and will be sending some along to friends that can't otherwise get out much. Love visiting your blog.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
