Stampin' UP! Free as a Bird

Hello, crafty friends. I hope you are enjoying the Memorial Day weekend!  Yes, it is fun to have a 3 day weekend, but let us also remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and include them in a prayer this weekend.

Today, I am sharing a card featuring the Free as a Bird stamp set and the May Paper Pumpkin kit called Hugs from Shelli.
Let me first start by saying that I was so excited to see how well this kit coordinates with the Free as a Bird stamp set!  I am totally happy that Stampin' UP! did this, and hope they continue to do this coordination with other stamp sets in the future.

 Yes, I did some fussy cutting, but with all the stamp sets that have matching dies, it was actually fun and relaxing to cut out the images for a change. :)  This is another fun set that is easy to color.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
