Celebration Time

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a card I made for an upcoming birthday using the retiring bundle called Celebration Time. You can never have too many birthday sets (in my opinion) and a stamp set that has a matching framelit set makes it a must have for me. :)

Does this card layout look familiar?  It's a case of my card HERE.  A very clean and simple (CAS) card.  And if you have been a loyal customer of mine, you most likely have received a 6"x 6" sampling of the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper stack and a sampling of the matching In Color ribbon as a thank you Host Code gift from me in the past so you should be able to CASE this layout very easily.

I love the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder! It works perfect for the subtle flower pattern in this DSP. I also love the fact that I got to go thru my collection of embellishments and find the perfect pink glitter brads to use on my flowers for the cake.  When Stampin' UP! retired brads, I kinda went crazy in shock and got a "couple more" to add to my collection. However, note that these particular ones are not from Stampin' UP!.

Card Supplies:

  • Celebration Time Bundle, Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (sentiment), Memento Black ink, Whisper White, Marina Mist, and Berry Burst cardstock, Fresh Florals DSP stack, Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon, Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, Clear Wink of Stella and non-SU brads.

I made another card using this cute birthday cake set and you see the post of it HERE.

Happy Stamping!
